The Lengau lodge is situated in the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve (GPNR).

Since the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve is directly connected to the Greater National Kruger Park, all kind of animals are freely moving through the reserve.
A beautiful place to embrace the wild nature of South Africa.

The Lengau Lodge is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the GPNR. From the viewing deck above the restaurant and kitchen building you have a magnificent view over a large part of the GPNR.

A bore hole that is only 50 meters from the main buildings attracts all kind of animals, like buffelos, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, warthogs and even lions!

What a fantastic 3 day stay at Lengau which exceeded our expectations and is without a doubt the best holiday experience we’ve had. The lodge is beautiful, authentic and a relaxing space to chill out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Leok took us on 2 fantastic drives where we had the most amazing sightings of animals, not to mention the herd of elephants that wondered past our room when we arrived memories we will never forgot. Ilse produced the most wonderful food at the lodge, so tasty and beautifully presented. We had a lovely last evening meal round the campfire with Leok and Ilse which was a lovely way to end our stay. We hope to return and recommend anyone to book a stay at Lengau. Thanks for the most amazing stay, it’s was perfect
Absolutely superb. This is the place to go to renew yourself and unwind. The accomodation was elegant, I couldn't help but overindulge in the food, and the hosts were fabulous company. We had some memorable sightings and our field guide taught us so many interesting facts about the bush. The whole stay just felt like such a treat. I can't find one thing to complain about.
We spent a wonderful three days at Lengau Lodge in October 2022. Many thanks to Loek and Ilse for their hospitality, helpfulness and warm welcome. Everything was just perfect. The hotel has three rooms and a maximum of 8 guests. It's a cozy place. Game drives through the park were interesting, we were able to see the animals very closely. For example, we witnessed over 100 elephants crossing the river . Also, Loek knows a lot of facts and stories about the animals and plants of the region. It's especially cool that you stop for a little picnic during the game drives and can enjoy the sunrise or sunset. The rooms are incredibly clean! Everything is well thought out for the comfort of the guests. There is good air conditioning, there is always electricity and hot water. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel has a pool with cool water, it is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Special mention should be made of the breakfasts and dinners offered at the hotel. Ilse has a culinary talent! All of our meals were varied and creative, all delicious and fresh. A good wine list is also offered. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this hotel! Highly recommend to all! P.S. The owners have a kind dog who became a real friend to us
The Lodge is African class at it's best. Loek and Ilse have a passion for the South African Bush and it shows in all they do. Ilse's food makes use of fresh South African produce with a focus on flavour. Exquisite quisine. Erg lekker! Rooms: The outdoor showers was my favorite feature
