I wish I could give ZERO stars!! What a disaster of a hospital in the West Coast where so many tourist come and visit during December. There was only one dr available at ER during xmas Decemer for the whole West Coast? I took my mom to ER with a back injury. She is 70 years old. She cant sit...but we have to wait for 4 hours! After the dr saw her the first time it took another 6 hours for them to realize she must be admitted to hospital. Since then she was lying there for better days...The TV' s in rooms are broken, the sisters of the hospital and the dr have a communication lack, if u dont ask for your medicine, they skipped. She was admitted Zero per month for a back injury? After a day of no food, no dr, I went to buy food for her. When I asked, "Oh sorry it must be a mistake"??? MRI scans was done the next day and since 9 hours past no dr in West Coast was available to give the diagnose or treatment. In the mean time my mum is crying of the lumber pain and there was nothing I can do as to only watch where she was laying down with a parasetimol IV. After several complaints and several hours that past the dr eventually decided to phone and send another dr to come check on my mum to explain the MRI Scans and to adjust the medicines..... Poor poor poor service in Life West Coast Hosiptal.

I was very impressed with thus hospital. From booking my friend in right through to the ward the service was incredible The staff professional and excellent nursing. The Physcian Dr Marais tops. I have had experiences with Constantiaberg, Panorama, Kingsbury, Christian Barnard. Vincent Paloti. Vredenberg life care hests them all!

Disgusting service from a private hospital. Went in with an emergency. Had my husband walked to triage instead of putting him into a wheel chair after theh were advised he is jnwell and could see ge is not in a state to walk. The medical board will be advised on this

This is a beautiful medical hospital situated in Vredenburg. There is sufficient parking for the disabled and able bodied persons. The reception at the main entrance is immaculate and beautifully decorated. It is one of the most beautiful hospital reception areas that I've seen. The toilets for males and females are always clean and well scented.

Best and friendliest experience I've ever received. From Olivia at reception, to the most fantastic Nurse Benita. They go out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended this hospital

My dad of 86 yrs lies there with colon cancer. He is to be operated on next Tuesday to remove a cancer tumor. He got a stent in his colon a week ago and since had excessive diarrhoea. Although we prefer to take care of him at home during this time, which includes changing nappies and a shower every two hours, we had to have him admitted to the general ward for an electrolyte imbalance caused by the diarrhoea. Big thank you to the nursing staff for taking good care of him.

First time in years I've been to the hospital. I'd like to thank Dr. Cupido and her sister for being so kind and helpful. Literally felt like they were angels. I called before going and sister told me if I feel something is wrong I should just come. It's been 3 days and I feel so much better. Dr. Cupido explained everything to me in terms I could understand and why she prescribed certain medications. I can't sing their praises enough. Thank you for your impeccable service because of you I could continue shooting for Africa From Within without the stabbing pain in my side. God bless your work and everything you touch.

So disappointing. Just phoned the hospital to ask for assistance with my dad. The receptionist just cut me short and said it is a public holiday and nobody will assist today. No empathy and not willing to go the extra mile. Don't they understand that when you phone a hospital it is for assistance. A simple ' we cannot assist toady, but tomorrow we can and this is what you must do'. Wow will never use them again.

Exceptional staff and service. I am a new resident in the Western Cape. From Gauteng. The loving care and attention that I have received during two admissions as well as emergency service for a friend, has by far exceeded the treatment and staff in Gauteng. Very pleased to report that I have healed perfectly from my two major operations

My Mom and dad went in for covid, they chased my dad out of the emergency covid area because they did not think he was sick enough. He sat outside on the cement floor and nobody thought to phone us or tell me when I did phone that he was sitting outside. My Mom went in and eventually not have eaten for 3 days my sister had to beg them to put her on a drip because the sister told us she puts the food down if she doesn't eat she can't make her. Needless to say my mom got more sick and had to be transferred to a northern hospital. We had a really bad experience with this hospital.
