We had a reservation at another Guest House in the vicinity. Due to a double booking they moved us to Little Scotia at their cost. We loved every minute there. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast at 5am before the 2 Oceans Marathon! Rooms: Spacious and clean rooms
Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Beware though, the website states that your stay includes dinner, however when we booked in, they handed us R200 p.p. per night for having dinner elsewhere. This is false advertising and not what we signed up for. Also, bring a round plug adaptor if you plan to use the hair dryer. The room did not have one and I could not use the dryer.
Excellent location near the university of Cape Town campus. Clean and functional rooms, I had a savory omelette at breakfast and enjoyed the view on Table Mountain. People are all joyful and helpful. Really a good stay.
The most amazing little place in Rondebosch. Comfortable, a home away from home. Only issue is that I could hear my neighbours through the walls.Rooms: 4/5
Beautiful view of Table Mountain from the street. Location feels safe and a lot of restaurants, takeaway and malls are in close walking proximity. Rooms: There is no fridge or microwave in the room we got. The toilet is positioned too close to the wall and makes using it inconvenient. Walkability: Close to two shopping malls, the Hussar Grill Restaurant and other popular food chain.. Food & drinks: Only Breakfast is served here and it is the same menu day after day so it can become monotonous. There is no room service available Noteworthy details: There are beautiful dogs on the property and they are very people friendly.
Beautiful, clean and quaint. Friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for somewhere to stay that is central and convenient. I really enjoyed my stay. Safety: Safe and secure
Wonderful stay with our Scottish Women's Masters Hockey group, who were made to feel welcome. The management and staff are friendly, helpful and went the extra mile. The venue is perfectly situated near the M3 and Main Road, with restaurants, shops and transport within walking distance.Rooms: 4/5
Staff welcoming and helpful, it's an older place , lots of separate rooms and suites, which has been renovated with charming little nooks in which to sit, drink coffee and chat. Pool looked inviting, easy chairs around area.Gardens lovely, clean, comfortable bed, lovely linen. Honesty bar operating and easy to order out for food. Unfortunately there were endless power outages when I was there, not the guest house's fault but rather dampened the mood on occasion. They did have generator but no plugs , of course. Did get one breakfast, really delicious egg and bacon and lots of choice and all appetizing and well presented. Enjoyed my time there, would like to go again when NO load shedding!!
I really loved this hotel! It's further out from the city center, which was a great thing for me-- very quiet, no party atmosphere. Clean, beautiful ! plants everywhere, and every staff member I've met has been so kind and helpful.
The place is recommended for someone who is on a business trip and need peace and quietness. It is centrally located and the owner is available with a flip of a finger.....Rooms: 5/5
