In Love with this place. Whenever I come to Cape Town again, I'll definitely come back to stay here. The staff is so friendly and willing to help, the calming atmosphere helps you to relax and just enjoy the moment. The breakfast is AMAZING!!!!! I would recommend this place to everyone.Rooms: 5/5

We stayed at Wild Olive for a week and we’re extremely happy with the service and accommodations. Rooms were clean and bright. The grounds and pool are kept clean and are very comfortable. I enjoyed relaxing and reading outside. The included breakfast was phenomenal and they were able to accommodate a vegan option for me. Local restaurants are all about a 20 minute walk away as we did not have a car, but we also used Uber and Uber Eats without a problem.

These guys are awesome. I arrived in the middle of the night and woke up the friendly owners, because I booked for the wrong date. And they were fully booked. Ouch. They invited me in, made me tea, had a chat, and made sure I didn’t leave before I had a new place to stay and I was safely in an Uber. I’ll definitely stay here next time, if I manage to book for the right dates.

Just simply a superb guesthouse. Unbelievably great value for money. We have seen hotel and guest house prices all over the Western Cape creep up to European levels in the last few years but not this guest house. They are more than fair with their tariffs. They definitely get my vote for Best omelette of our three week SA holiday and also Cleanest property of our whole trip. I could also suggest a third award of Most Caring Guesthouse in SA….. Their sitting room is ultra relaxing with an honesty bar, well stocked with famous SA wines and spirits. The staff are very approachable, friendly and helpful Thanks Jill and Tino The owners are on site. A very genuine couple, Ulf and Meike. They speak German, Afrikaans and English. They recommended a few nearby eateries when we didn’t feel like heading into the city. The Foresters Arms, a great gastro pub with an outdoor courtyard, and also an excellent Indian restaurant called Sundoo. Both a 5 minute drive away. This property also provides lunch and dinner on request. Last year we stayed in their self catering cottage, and this time we stayed in one of the lovely spacious upstairs rooms, which had a dressing room area where we could store our cases. A real bonus was the well stocked mini bar/ fridge in the room something we didn’t have in our 5 star hotel in Franschhoek. Finally, I can honestly recommend The Wild Olive Guesthouse without any hesitation whatsoever. Remember, it’s in a southern suburb of Capetown, Newlands/Rondebosch/Claremont - a fabulous location. Easily reached from the airport. Great for reaching all the major sights, including Table Mountain, under whose shadow you are actually staying. The Vineyard hotel is a few minutes drive away if you need a lovely walk, food and drink and some gardens with really mature huge tortoises! I also love the nearby Belvedere Square, a Shopping Centre, which has a small, but excellent, Woolworths to stock up on water etc after a 12 hour flight. In addition, Edge Unisex is an exceptional hairdressers next door. Look for Rawayda There is an excellent bakery called Proof, with good take out coffee, next door. Then across from these you’ll find Sorbet - the most attentive and friendly beauticians in that small shopping centre to make you feel human again after a long flight! Can’t wait to return.

Extraordinary Luxury Guest House in the Heart of Newlands! Family & Friends are welcomed here all the time. The guest house has 8 stunning rooms each have been customized by the Blecher owners. Your welcomed by fresh flowers in the foyer with the daily cape town local newspaper. team. The pool and garden is immaculate with sun beds to soak up the sun. Definitely a place where you can create everlasting memories. Perfect for 1-3 days work stays in cape town or long family vacations in their self catering units. Over the years I have visited the Wild Olive its the small touches that has made it my home away from home.

Wow what an awesome place. Beautifully situated. buildings with wooden floors. Large rooms and very comfy. Cottage is superb for family of 4 people. Breakfast was magnificent i had an omelette. Coffee was good .Service was excellent.Rooms: 5/5

Beautiful place, the room are very beautifully decorated with a rustic/vintage style. They offer an amazing breakfast variety. It's located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood.Rooms: 5/5

Hospitality was excellent.Breakfast was great. Eugene,Tino, Genevieve & the kitchen team made our stay comfortable & relaxing,despite the fact that we were in CT for work. Definitely a place to recommend.
