The location and host are fantastic. We had a sports tournament at UCT and Villa Garda was perfect because the fields were a 5 minute drive away. In fact, we could have walked there in 10/15 minutes. Elias was very accommodating and organised a packed breakfast which was enjoyed at the fields. The set up was perfect for a touring team as there were enough rooms beds and bathrooms/showers as well as communal areas dining room and pool area for us to socialise and enjoy each other's company. The rooms were well appointed and beds comfortable avoid the top 2 rooms in the cottage as the water pressure is a bit low.
It was home away from home. Absolutely loved it. It was centrally located...close to everything. The owners were super helpful and accommodating. We checked out in the morning but stayed till midday to attend online meetings etc. We could have their coffee and make use of their amenities will definitely recommend this place.
The place is ok but the wardrobes are just too old for my liking. The water was cold on the morning which made it an unpleasant experience. There was no breakfast offered so people shouldn't expect itRooms: 2/5
The manager was so kind with his family , I felt like home and I'll never forget the manager's hospitality.Rooms: 4/5

Very accommodating and welcoming. All services advertised were given with care. Facilities are neat and cozy. Highly recommend.
Affordable, friendly, comfortable - at your service! I visited this B&B overnight and I was flying in from Port Elizabeth. My flight was delayed for 5 hours and Villa Garda's offices were long closed by the time I landed in Cape Town at 01:00 am. To my pleasure, the manager waited for me to arrive that late and still received me well. He still took the time to do the welcome routine when I arrived and made sure I was well informed even though I had inconvenienced him so much in waaay past check in time. The contents of the B&B are exactly as shown in their pictures and the place makes for a comfortable stay. In the morning I enjoyed some English breakfast served by two very friendly ladies. Exactly the kind of service I needed after such a stressful evening!!! Thank You!!! I would recommend this business to anyone at anytime.
Great Hosts and staff could be wonderful but.. no top sheet on the bed, hate that especially in Summer Rubbish TV, no fans in the rooms, had to cut my own Fruit Salad, coffee filter empty and no one to assist.
Nice B&B in a quiet suburb close to the Highways... There are a lot of restuarants around the area, it's close close to the Beach and Table mountain. Very nice Host as well.
Good Location close to UCT upper campus. No air con in room. older give TV. overall good experience
