Maroela Caravan Camp

I truly beautiful peaceful relatively small camp - amenities were the cleanest and most well maintained when compared to the other camps we visited. Also the proportion of showers, toilets and basins seemed very favorable again when compared to the other camps we visited. We would definitely visit again. P.S. No restaurant but the peace and quiet ,made up for it

Our first visit to an all camping restcamp and we were not let down. The grounds have lots of trees which helped with the 40 degree days, the kitchen and ablution block were always clean. We had plenty of nighttime visitors including a honey badger, genet, wild dog, lots of hyenas and lions roaring closeby. Sightings in the surrounding area was really good including cheetah and lion. Orpen restcamp is close enough to pop out to for supplies or the well needed swimming pool. Camping in Kruger is the only way to be close to nature.

There is enough trees providing shade. Very clean and well kept camp with modern showers. Beware of the monkeys though, but enjoy the daily visit if hyenas!

One of the best camps!!! Ablutions nice and clean, monkeys a big problem but I guess it is part and parcel of the camping experience. Will definitely stay there again!!!

Excellent small camping camp with large trees that is well kept. There are clean ablution facilities and convenient cooking facilities with stove tops, microwave, hot water urn and deep freezer. The camp is located next to a dry river bed and we saw many birds and some game.
