I popped in to Mediclinic Pmb for some bloods on Saturday 25th March at 9 a.m after confirming opening times the day before. I went in past a very courteous security guard, sat down in the Lancet waiting room as there was one lady being attended to at the desk and another also waiting. There were three staff in this room, two of whom wearing scrubs were having a conversation about a visit to the Imax theatre, loud enough to be overhead, yet no service offered after 25 minutes. I left the room, reported it at reception and left the hospital and had my eight tests done at another lab in a different hospital. Sad to say this is not the service one should experience at Mediclinic and it is the first time it has been so poor. I hope going forward this is not the norm as Mediclinic is our hospital of choice.
On my admission I had a terrible experience of excessive staff noise . I complained to management who immediately sorted the problem out . During my week long stay I had no more problems ; staff were courteous and management kept checking if I was satisfied . What a great team . Thank you !Will always recommend NEWCASTLE MEDICLINIC !
I took my daughter for an extraction last week Friday and anesthesia Doctor Essack which we did not want which we informed Doctor Turton rooms . Doctor Essack was very abrupt and very inconsiderate when doing his procedure, he just took over from the nurse which was assisting him turn the apparatus to the highest level, the mask which she had on held it down so ruff, no consideration this is a five year old child. I am not happy with the level of service and I want something to be done with my issue. My name is Trenley
Thank you to cardiac and surgical ward. The treatment for myself by doctor Mohamed and nurses was outstanding. Very loving place filled with humanity. totally professional . I am throughly impressed with care and efficiency.
Thank you to Cardiac Critical Care ward - the treatment for my mother by Dr Su Maharaj and the team of doctors and Nurses is Outstanding. Warm and hospitable and totally professional I felt comfortable leaving her in their care. Nothing seemed to be too much effort and we were welcomed by happy smiles all the way from reception along the corridors and definitely within the unit itself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything and wishing all the Mediclinic staff everything of the best.
Casualty ward is such a let down to an otherwise great hospital. Short staffed, old equipment. I know its a busy ward but waiting 2hrs to get put onto ECG and take bloods isn't acceptable in a private Hospital. If there are delays then give patients updates. They only noticed me after I just walked out and decided I want to go to a different hospital. Again the rest of the hospital is great just not casualty.
My hubby recently had an op at this hospital and we were blown away by the improvements since his last visit some years back. Every member of staff from the Receptionist, to the the nurses and down to the cleaning staff were all amazing. So helpful and friendly and the care was excellent. Many Thanks
We were in the orthopedic ward and received the best attention and care from all the staff. Everyone was so helpful and reacted immediately when my husband was in pain or needed assistance. Thank you to all the surgeons, hospital staff, nurses and assistants who helped us.
I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the staff at the outpatients. From the security outside that very kindly brought my mom a wheelchair, to the admin staff, Doctors and nurses. Your care and patience was so appreciated and thank you for all you do for those not able or well.
Took my 1 year old daughter there at 3am on Monday for a high fever, and all they was check her with a stethoscope and give her a syringe with stillpane and we were sent on our way. Doctor told me to continue with what I’ve being doing as he wasn’t going to investigate further. Took her to a doctor today as she was getting any better and first thing they did was check her throat and turns out she has tonsillitis, had her mouth been checked the problem would’ve been found.
