A well done and a big thank you to Leipoldt Hospital!! A special thanks to the staff and the ER doctor on duty - he was fantastic even though I collapsed 3 times he was on it! During my stay i was taken care of by the most incredible humble, kind and loving nurses - They were brilliant with such pride in their job. The cleaning staff - The Rooms and floors are in immaculate condition! The food was amazing catering for your needs. Well done and thank you! 5 star people makes a 5 star hospital
Incredible service experience. I've had my fair share of ops over the last 10 years and I have to say that the service and care I received at Louis Leopold Medi Clinic was beyond anything I've experienced at other major private hospitals. Truly. Every single person from security, the porter, the nurses, the cleaning staff, the surgery staff, my surgeon,of course and the sisters were nothing short of caring, concerned, informative and quick to-the-call. I highly recommend this hospital. It's not the most "fancy" by far, but the people inside are the most outstanding no doubt. A special mention to Sister Bianca who assisted with a "speedy exit" after hours of waiting. Five-*'s to you all! Thank u.
To Dr. Stanley, Thank you for being so thorough when you discussed how the surgery went. You clearly answered questions and the extra time you took out of your busy schedule is appreciated. You are thorough and accurate in your diagnosis. You follow through treatment leaving no stone unturned. All the staff from front office staff, nurses, sisters, to kitchen staff, to cleaning attendants. You have made sure that I was always given the best care available. Sr Jennet in the ER is a HUGE asset to mediclinic , she communicates every small detail & is very gentle and kind. I wish I could say the same for the nurses in paediatric ward - they definitely need to get some compassion, kindness and better communication skills. One thing that I also find very unfair , is that my 20 month old toddler must wait two hours for lunch and he has been here since 4am with NO breakfast, not even offered a glass of water. Shocking for a hospital that charges so much to my medical aid for an overnight stay.
Was there on Monday with my 5 year old daughter. The ER is not very clean, was spots of blood on floor. The toilets are very dirty i just think for the amount of fees they charge, it should be kept clean and sterile.
Sitting in ER this evening since 19h30, and 3 hours later, and 86 year old mother who is in acute pain, and very weak, shaking, has still not been seen by a doctor. Only one doctor is on duty at ER for the night shift...!!! And the ER is full to capacity. How can one doctor handle this adequately in an emergency centre, and it's a private medical facility?! Apparently the day shift has more doctors on duty, but the night shift always has only one on duty. This is shocking beyond words, especially as this is private medical care, and not a state facility, where you can expect there to not be enough staff. The staff working here are very friendly and helpful though, and trying their best to help everyone under very trying circumstances. Really unacceptable for a private facility, and I hope Medi Clinic will look into this, as the ER I believe is run by a private medical practice belonging to Dr Bosch.
I want to commend each and every staff member that I dealt with today. Professional, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and competent. My experience was extremely positive. Thank you for excellent service.
Lay in the maternity ward for 4 days. Felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. Just want to thank everyone. Nurse Rank and all the other nurses for making both mine and my baby daughter Shiloh's spikey stay a great experience. Super friendly, professional,wish I could remember everyone's name so I can personally thank u...esp. to dr v/d Merwe and staff for hepling me through my mini breakdown on the operating table.The maternity ward staff truly are angels on earth...God bless and keep up the good work from Shiloh Snell and mom
My mother was in the hospital. The care was very good, but they took her medication and also her pen. I phoned about this. They said they will come back to me regarding this. Nobody contact me since she left there two weeks ago already.
Just now left Dr Van Rensburg's rooms 323 totally insulted and embarrassed with my husband and 14yrs old daughter. Lady at reception being absolutely loud obout my daughter's reason 4 being there and saying "U Moes nie eers in die gebou toegelaat word nie." "U kan glad nie hier wees nie." We told her we got a letter from our gp and he arranged for us to come.ive been going to the hospital with all my family's hospital needs. Now to be chased away like a pig... Very Very Sad
