I would like to thank the Emergency Unit staff who was on duty on Chrisatms Day for their outstanding service. Very 1st visit to your hospital and what outstanding service. Thank you to the doctor on duty - she and her team - use were on point. Great teamwork going there. A big thank you to Nurse - Mars Mr for attending to my Son. 5 Stars to Outstanding Service.
The staff is Useless!! I moved from ICU after a huge surgery to the cardiac ward and been laying here for 5 hours without any pain medication. I asked and called but still nothing. Keep telling me to hold on. Useless man, will never come back to this place. It was exactly the same when I was here a few months ago for my kidneys. The staff just doesn't care about anyone laying here. And the best part is, it is a private hospital and it is this ueseless!!
Service at the hospital has declined. The hospital decided to repaint their parking lines on a Monday. This means that the mom and tots parking was all unavailable to be used. I arrived 5 minutes before my storks nest appointment because I live just behind the hospital. I arrived late for my baby's appointment because of the unorganised parking arrangements. I had to walk in the rain with my 3 month old from the top parking lot after all of this. I'd rather drive all the way to Panorama next time.
I had a I'll toddler. My husband could only join us for visiting hours. During that time I had to shower and use the bathroom. My toddler had a drip, he couldn't move off the bed. It was a few horrible and extremely busy days, I couldn't even discuss progress with my family. The doctor gave permission for the nurses to let my husband join, since there were only 2 kids but the head nurse said no. She also has the audacity to complain about my boy's room begin dirty
My husband was admitted to Netcare Kuilsriver. I aksed the nurses to go in to drop off some goodies, I was shunned and humilated by another nurse in front of the other patients bcos it was not visiting hours, and was told to leave. My husband decided to wait with us in the waiting room, after which we said our goodbyes. Only for him to be told its not visiting hours becos he went back to his ward, yet he was the patient. They did not even know he was a patient.Felt insulted, will not go back there again, not compassion,
Bad experience with 1 trauma doctor. Knee surgery 10 months down the line after trauma dr.1 did not want to sign a recommendation letter from a physio. It took us a whole lot of physio sessions to ask for a 2nd doctor to review my report and sign the letter to see a Orthopedic dr. 7 months later and a MRI scan we found the problem in my knee...I could feel something was wrong but the trauma doctor 1 insisted I am not doing my exercises. In my experience although the doctor has the qualification I knew and insisted something was wrong with my knee but dr.1 kept on saying there is nothing wrong.
Sat in the trauma unit for 3hrs before the Triage nurse even assessed the severity of my condition, only to wait a further hour to be called into the procedure room, and then a further 35mins before I was actually tended to.. craziest part is the stitches took a whole 15mins.. was just about ready to walk out without being treated..
I'm currently in the ER for more than 2 hours and still haven't been assisted. I brought 1 yr old son earlier with diarrhea and slight fever. Here's only one doctor on duty... Pls tell how is this possible???? Seems like my son is not a priority. I can't even get mad. Standing here crying as my son fell and still haven't been attended to. All nursing are just passing by without saying anything. I will definitely not recommend anyone to this hospital and will never even return.
Wish there was an option for zero stars. 1 is far to much. Worst experience in high care. Ecg machine not working. They could not get the monitor to work properly. Changed the cables in the ECG machine 4 times and on the monitor twice. Everytime blaming it on the system.Staff running around with fancy colourcoded ipads but it seemed nobody know how to use it. Had to do admission swabs twice because they lost the first specimen. Five different nurses asked the same questions after I've answered it the first time already. I've been told by several staff members that I am there for a back operation which was not the case. Was admitted at six o clock in the morning, and at eleven oclock my admission was still not completed.. Nearly time for my operation and still no identification bracelet. Bear in mind that I was told by the reception that the info on my file is not correct, but I do not have to worry, the inside will be correct.That night the night staff came into the room, laughing and joking . Put on all the lights in the room. I just asked them to pull the curtains around my bed. They were rude. No compassion. Worst hospital.ever.
This is the nearest hospital from my house but I would not go there, my last visit to their ER proved my point The service is slow and the doctor that assisted was very abrupt and nonchalant The fact that only one parent can accompany a child is also very off-putting
