Thank you Vincent and the team for a great stay. Our room came with a copper bath that was truly out of this world. Breakfast was good as well as the location and everything we needed was supplied. Will certainly be back in winter!Rooms: 5/5

Lovely place. Vincent is the most gracious host and cooks an absolutely delicious breakfast for you everyday. Gorgeous gardens and pristine pool.

A special and unique experience. Every aspect from the decor to the bedroom, reading room, , gardens is detailed with care and class! It’s upmarket but humble! The breakfast is fit for a king and queen and the host is focused on service and goes out of his way to make everything special. I loved the bath and the Nespresso machine in my room! The pool was also warm.

What an amazing experience! The hosts are phenomenal, and this gorgeous historical house has been looked after with such care. A versatile holiday option, you can rest and relax at the manor on the porch or by the pool or get out with the various hiking trails, wine farms, historical sights, etc etc. Do not miss the sunsets and sunrises from the porch - as the views of the valley are breath taking! I will definitely be returning for a solo week, workaway, friend vacation or romantic getaway... This stay was worth every penny - a true slice of heaven in the Cape. Thank you to the people at Merindol Manor - your hard work and care shows and is very appreciated!

No reception on arrival at 20h00. Struggled to know where to book in. Mattress very poor. But beautiful place, spacious room & bathroom. Very pretty especially garden & View! Thanx for waffle and excellent quality Coffee!!

Personal service .Nath is a great host with the personally prepared breakfast being awesome.Fresh baked bread,squeezed juice. Rooms are comfortable and the surrounding gardens are a delight. Great place to chill and to visit the area. Library with rusks and a Sherry were nice little touches.

What a fabulous spot! We had a beautiful room with a view of the garden and a huge copper bath - truly lovely. Vincent and Nat went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even made me a vegan buffet breakfast which is a first. We also borrowed bikes to explore the town. Will certainly be back very soon.

A little gem in the Riebeek Valley. We stayed in the Savanah suite which was definitely a decadent treat. Loved the copper bath! Its no wonder this Manor is chosen by brides, so many unique romantic settings for photos. Breakfast on the verandah was an experience! Home made just about everything- bread, muesli, fig jam, pressed juice, plus plus plus - sublime! And then the view of the magnificent garden from our table for two... To be highly recommended. Thank you Nath for your friendliness and hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed our mini getaway.

Beautiful historic home. We had a sublime cheese fondue hosted by Vincent who ensured that everyone had the most amazing evening. Will definitely be going back for more

This is without a question, one of the most superb venues I've been to. Vincent is warm, welcoming and a stellar host.. the grounds rooms and views are prestine and absolutely breathtaking.
