Micro Robotics is a supplier of electronic and robotic components for the maker and prototyping market in South Africa. We are an official distributor for Arduino, Adafruit, Sparkfun, Pololu, DF Robot, Teensy, Wantai and various other brands. Our head office is in Technopark Centurion and we have just expanded to the Western Cape and opened in Technopark Stellenbosch. For us the study of Robotics is a lifelong journey. 1. Great range of electronic components available. 2. Great Support on the website = component Data sheets/ info 3. Ordering is easy. 4. Problem with following through an order. I ordered, selected "pay and collect in-Store" option - but the order was not processed because I haven't made payment yet. Thus, I had to contact their accounts department, to get the banking details to make payment, and now I wait in hope that someone will let me know when my order is ready for collection. Thank you for the assistance Minette De Beer. Your online Ordering system has a problem.
Very happy with their service. Turned out electronics is not my thing, so the order that was processed and delivered within 24 hours really impressed with the order process, everything worked easily, and I got emails at each step of the process was returned, and the refund was processed within about 2 hours of receive the return. If I ever need anything electronic related again - these guys are definitely going to be my first point of call.

Very helpful. Good products. Good prices
Unfortunately a really bad experience. Bought seven Buck converters, does not perform to supplied spec. Don't believe there is any quality control seeing as five were physically damaged in the form of components being broken off and not soldered correctly.
Very helpful guys behind the counter. Even though I wasn't sure of all the things I wanted to buy they helped and guided and made well-informed suggestions.
Service always good and fast. Best part is that items are always nicely detailed on website with datasheets, makes purchasing easy. Suggestions: Add actual stock quantity available and more payment options like mobicred.
Staff is only there to fulfil orders. Asking questions doesn't really help cause they don't know the products. Answer stretches as far as "I don't know" and couldn't bother to try and help to find out. UPDATE - I appreciate the reply, but don't you think customer service would actually mean the sales person would go and ask someone for help instead of just telling the customer "I don't know" and hope they go away? You could have sold several more components if the sales person just did a little bit of effort to ask someone in the store for help.
Hi Guys thanks for taking time to help a non "geek" . Your friendly staff and the variety of robotic stuff you keep is amazing. I love all the Micro Bit stuff, I am 70+ years old and i feel like a 16 year old again
Very good selection of micro computer robotics components. They also seem to know a lot about Arduino and Raspberry Pi and willing to show the goodies. I'm a regular.
