Monument Park Pet & Doggy Parlour

BIG NO NO!! This place is unprofessional. My Jack Russels undercoat was shaved and he looks patchy. They had no muzzle so they used a string on his mouth. Was in utter shock when I got there. They requested I get a tranquilizer from the vet to calm him... yet still tied the string. I also had to help them do their job and still cough up R 160 for their incompetent service...

I would definitely recommend this parlour to anyone, they cut my dogs fur perfectly and she looks flawless, they also take good care of your pup when you drop them off to get a cut, i will always take my dog to this parlor

I am very happy with the service. Please just give me an indication at what time he will be dropped next time. It is a bit taxing to sit and wait for 6 hours not knowing when your dog will be dropped home so you cannot go anywhere. Thanks for the service. Lydia Weyer

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE! Very unprofessional. We brought our border collies in, they shaved their undercoat, and our dogs had numerous cuts. Their coats look terrible.

I gave these people a one cos that's the lowest. I actually would give them a 0.they shaved my border collie. When I asked the lady why they did that when I asked them to just cut/trim his fur she said that's how they do all dogs. Really all breeds . Then the groomer spoke to me saying she shaved my dog cos he was matted. He has no knots at all. They just left his head and they didn't even trim that neatly. He also had some pulled skin that was bleeding probably from the shaver. Anyone worth their salt knows u don't shave a undercoat. Now my poor dog is upset every time the rain hits his skin cos he's not used to it. I've incuded before and after pics Terrible don't ever take your dogs here.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with this place, they over shaved my husky cross German Shepard, they are rude,they Overbrook and R300 later they ask for help with holding my dog and had the audacity to phone me 4 hours later to say my dog was ready. They are extremely rough with the animals, they have no water in that boiling tiny room. Owner/manager at front desk was very rude. No respect for your pet and completely unprofessional. Place should actually be shut down

Absolutely appalled by the terrible service. Our Border Collie use to love water/baths, but ever since we sent him to the Monumentpark Doggy Parlour, he is terrified of it. When we asked them to trim his coat, they shaved his undercoat, which is growing out now and he looks scruffy. Also, they sent him back without his collar, which I assume we'll never get back. Never sending our precious dog back there again!

Always take care of my doggies with the same amoint of love a I would.

My Yorkie has numerous cute on her little body! With big scabs! She was crying when we came and fetched her! She was heartbroken and scared! Unacceptable! Really! The one ear behind is completely shaved down and cut... as shown in the photos but the other one is fine? She does not scratch if that is your next question.. and definitely not like that!
