Update* went thru the drive thru yesterday, ordered a pulled chicken veggie bowl and two drinks.. When we got to the collection window we received the pulled chicken veggie bowl and were told to park in front and wait for our drinks, I have asked them the waiting time because when the tell you 5min it's usually 20min.. And they told me 6min to wait for two drinks because there is a lot of drink orders.. So I looked inside the establishment just to see that there is basically no one.. And I told them to give me a refund... After I have said it we received our drink in less than a minute.. Disappointment is really high and I love visiting Nando's.. Nando's Cape Rd is the best Nando's around. Never disappoints on the food.. For me, the quality and quantity is a lot better when doing a sit-in than takeaway..
Well made food. Excellent service. Innovative systems - the vibrating disk even works as far as the parking are so you don't have to loiter around if you don't want to. The place is standard new Nandos but very clean.Food: 4/5

21/02/2023 The food was underwhelming it was definitely not worth the money. The employee taking the order though was very friendly, she explained in detail the things to us without getting upset that we were asking questions and her service was 5/5 BUT the food was not living up to the hype. The wrap was so expensive and it just had a little bit of filling. The biggest issue we had was the security guard on service that night. We stopped in the parking lot to eat as we had a long drive home from PE and nandos was our last stop and he knocked on our window while we were eating and said we can't sit there and eat only go in to order. We told him we were tired and just wanted to finish our meal before leaving for the road and then he said we parked a few centimeters literally over the line even though the entire parking lot was empty we should park properly. We decided to leave and still ended up very unhappy with our food. It's not worth the money.
Very quick service. Friendly staff. The meat was a little burnt but overall, I'm satisfied. The rolls and chips were fresh and other than the bit of burn on the meat, it was edible and tasted like I expected it to.
Cape Road Nandos is always a stand out. Their food is always good and their staff are always friendly. We got our lunch in record time today and it was delicious. Thank you Vegetarian options: There is a full vegetarian menu with lots of options Kid-friendliness: The menu is kid friendly as is the restaurant itself. I am not sure if they have high chairs Parking: Can be a bit challenging sometimes but there is parking at the back as well Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchair access Dietary restrictions: Strictly halaal with vegetarian options
I always go to Nandos Newton Park and the service has always been excellent however tonight I ordered a bouji bowl with extra halloumi and paid for it and got home to find that there was no halloumi in the bouji bowl and instead of spinach there was lettuce in the bowl. Tried to phone and the call keeps getting cut off and now no one answers. I am not an unreasonable person but I do however expect to get what I paid for.
This place is so expensive, and the service is not great, no recommendations or enthusiasm. I won't waste my time there againFood: 2/5
Service when they call you with a buzzer was very professional. The wraps was very scimpy filled would have expected more for the price you pay. Chips were bland not even salt and vinigar.Food: 2/5
Online service must definitely be improved but overall good service. Thank you.
