Had a birthday party with my niece and her friends with the parents. It was a great experience with the staff they were very attentive and helpful. They had party packs and the meals were great value for the price and the kids were entertained the whole time.
The staff are friendly, professional, looks nice and clean in the restaurant. Covid protocals apply. We enjoyed the food as a family dinning at the restaurant. The starter which was the buffulo wings spicy was a little dry but otherwise it was not a bad. The manager didn't come around and do what they normally do at all the Spur restaurants, check on the customer. I saw him go past our table to the next and asking is everything OK and it was very surprising to me.
Monday schnitzel special, must say had a good time with the fast friendly staff to some delicious food. Juicy chicken breast schnitzel with every bite, nice fluffy chips and always with a good classic the crisp onion rings and accompanied with some castle lite draft. All in all had a good experience!
Waiter was friendly and always ready to help. Even when asked to take fotos from the group he was earger.He kept us happy throughout our stay there. Would always go back again..We love Navaho Spur Steak Ranch Brackenfell. Kid-friendliness: Play area for the kids to play. And they love Parking: Ample parking space
Always enjoy good food and service. Unfortunately we went there yesterday, 16 Des. Our waiter, GRACE took our Family card but brought us the wrong slip. We showed him and he went back for our slip. We asked him if our points are on our card. Hy said YES and no worries, because the other amount was more so we got more points. Checked our card balance. Nothing added. We had to sent a mail today.
Their milkshakes are Tops!!! I have had many different milkshakes at different branches but this was by far the Best! Jennifer was our waiter and she is tops! My first time at this spur but very nice. Was very busy at one stage but they could accommodate everybody. All good. Good service. Good food. They just couldn't accommodate me with a double Jameson's whiskey in my Don Pedro but otherwise all good good. Percy Martin
As it was load shedding, I went to eat out. Got there, people at the door was friendly. Walked to my table. Sat over 10 minutes waiting for a menu. I would completely understand if the place is full, but this was not the case. And 4 ladies were standing at the door waiting for new customers. And numerous workers walked pass me during that time. Eventually when I was about to leave one of the waiters came and asked if I was helped, but in a manner that appeared that it was my fault for not being helped. I decided to order, as atleast there was an attempt. Food was not bad will give credit where due. However, while I was eating I saw the waiter only once. And when I was done I waited about 5 minutes before someone came and asked if he could take my plate etc. Then I waited for another 5 minutes and no one appeared to ask if I would like something else or the bill. Frustration eventually took over and I stood up went to the front to pay. I then got asked do I have a bill, as I needed to pay and they need the amount. I get I don't have the face of an angel or a mythical body, but I could make a dog feel more special then that, not that I am special at all. At the end, this is a review of my experience. If you want to go there, go. I will just make sure non of my family or friends ever goes there. Be better.
Wow!! What an excellent branch of Spur, being vegetarian I often struggle to get choices when eating out but for a vegetarian burger there are 3 OPTIONS!! I mean can you believe it, 3 options! The staff are amazing, the food is delicious and the owners are the best! Thank you for always striving for the best
Thank you Nigel. Spur is never my first choice but Unfortunately as a parent you don't have many child friendly restaurants to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by the service I got from Spur Brackenfell. The manager Nigel went out his way to accommodate us. He was friendly and had an smile on his face the hole time. The other Spurs can really learn from Nigel. Haven't had any good experience at any Spur for many years and didn't expect anything more but this Spur was one for the books. Thank you Nigel.
First they had issues making a booking for us near play area. Secondly, my 2 year old son got out of the play area more than 2 times. I came across this when checking on my son every 3 minutes. This is a huge concern, as kids gets lost and stolen these days. I will never go there again as I can't trust that my kid is save. The service was also nothing to write home about. My eggs swam in the oil.
