Great spot with a fitting name. Social cafe indeed. Seated under a massive tented Structure, it was perfect for a Winters day, especially the heaters. Great selection of drinks wine, beers, hard liquor at decent prices. Service that amazed me at the speed food came from the kitchen. Good, hearty food. Had loaded fries which was absolutely delicious and snacked on Margherita pizza - Fresh and flavourful with a crisp base. Inside bar area and outside more for families. Great atmosphere and recently upgraded with neat facilities including the bathroom. Overall a great spot for few drinks and nice food
Has a lovely atmosphere. Sitting outside there ate heaters close to the tables. The outside is decorated with subtle streamer lights. A nice and cozy atmosphere. Service received was excellent. Staff was nice and friendly, and would crack a few jokes here and there. Food was amazing. Nice and Flavorful. Will go again.
Great vibe! If it's an icy day wear a nice thick jacket unless you've booked a table inside in advance. The food is delicious and staff friendly.
Very very nice place hidden away between the Durbanville hills with a lovely view down the valley. Lots of seating all round with a seperate bar area. Nice outside seating with a lovely restaurant part that has a fireplace to sit infront of. Food is amazing and the staff very nice Wheelchair accessibility: Has wheelchair accessibility

First time sitting at the restaurant indoors have been to the Pub area before Loved the farm kitchen feeling... service was generally great. Food was also great, we had the Lunch specials @ R89/head you really can't go wrong. The only complaint was that we couldn't see the Kids playing on on Jungle Gym from inside at all it was incredibly windy.... so we couldn't sit outside Luckily our kids are fairly big... so we didn't feel the need to supervise them, but it was still a concern. If they had been younger it would have been an issue and we would not have been comfortable sitting there. Kid-friendliness: Big open space for kids to play and jungle gyms

Although I was skeptical about the outside area being the non-smoking area, and it having been a cold day when I visited, it was no problem. The heaters do an excellent job keeping the atmosphere under the tent warm! The waiting staff are also of excellent calibre and very friendly and jovial
We enjoyed a pizza and chicken natchos. It was flavourful and a good size portion. Service was great and efficient. A recommendation for a quick lunch that may turn out to take longer than you anticipated due to a very relaxing atmosphere. Jungle gym for kids add to the enjoyment Parking: Ample parking with car guard Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available for access.
Been wanting to visit De Oude Social Café for a while now and finally stopped for lunch. Great Pizza and much more to choose from the menu. Lovely vibes and beautiful views! Definitely returning again!
