Nu-Metro Scene VIP Century City

This Nu Metro was decent. The ticket system seems outdated, and it was confusing when ordering your snacks no images to see what the combos were, for example. My movie that was in the 'Kidz' cinema was poorly designed for adults. The drink holder wasn't even wide enough! Besides the seating, from the service to the quality of the theatre, it was decent!

Nu Metro was Amazing, we went to the 4DX experience where it makes you feel like you're inside the movie with moving seats and wind and smoke and amazing effects, the sound is amazing and I bet you even an old lady at the back will be able to hear it, Yes its that loud but luckily not too loud to hurt your ears its just the awesome Surround Sound, Nu Metro has awesome bundles and deals with free slushies or a free water but I think everyone chooses the slushie because why not, The only thing that was a very little bit of a downer was that you have to buy the 3D classes in an 3D movie and trust me you'd rather buy the classes or leave the movie because without the 3d classes it wil look like everything is blurry and there is 4mirages of the same person, it will make you nauseous and no body wants to have puke on/in their popcorn, talking about popcorn the 4DX moving seats is SUPER fun and trust me do you want to hold onto your popcorn

The cinema itself delivers on a good experience and sound which is balanced. Making a very good movie experience. However, since the cinema has been reduced in size, the service has been drastically slower to get refreshments. So you will need to factor in at least an additional 20 to 30 minutes to your arrival time to ensure you get your refreshments - regardless of where you queue! We had to leave the queue as the VIP counter couldn't serve cold drinks as this had to be retrieved from the front counter first - causing a huge queue of people around the counter as they waited to get their drinks.

Movies on the big screen always on experience and to top it, an action packed thriller 'Plane'

My first time back at the theater after a long hiatus. Standing in the queue for snacks was quite nostalgic, but, it would be nice if the franchise would allow for online orders of snacks and prepare them ahead of time to avoid queues? Or I could've just got there earlier

Good cinema, screen quality is great and the chairs are comfy. The sound was just off on the movie we watched. I don't know if it was the movie or the speakers/sound setup they have. But it was always either very loud or very soft. The loud sounds would also start distorting a bit.

Was there today with friends and 5 kiddos. The cinema was very clean and the seats comfortable. As we exit the cinema we had to go to the ladies room. I totally forgot my phone in the cubicle... only noticed it 20 minutes later, already far away from the cinema. My friend called my phone and the nu metro team found it in the cubicle. They kept it safe for me until I arrived. Thank you so so much NuMetro for awesome service, awesome assistance and doing it with a smile. You are truly my heroes for the day

As always, a movie at Nu Metro Canal Walk is never bad. Absolutely loved Super Mario Bros. My only issue was that they ran out of Popcorn at the snacks station, and that kinda slowed down the process of getting into the cinema. However, their staff went over an above to provide the snacks for us. They made sure to take my seat numbers down and delivered our popcorn to us in the cinema. That was AMAZING service. And I will NEVER watch another movie, anywhere else but at Nu Metro Canal Walk.

Have improved a lot and the service was also good. The supervisor or manager came around to inspect. Now that im with Nedbank and Sanlam Reality would love to see more Nu Metro Movie theatres in Western Cape.

How can a cinema run out of popcorn 15min before the movie? My first time back to watch a movie after lockdown. Very disappointing for such a prestigious Cinema complex
