Oval Bed N Breakfast

Rooms were lovely and clean and water super hot. They supply of tea and coffee was on the low side and we felt they could have been more ready for load shedding. We had load shedding from 7pm to 9pm and all that was provided was a candle . One of our rooms had an emergency globe but that did not last two hours. Surely some solar lighting could be installed.

I had a lovely meal at the Oval after walking over from the Tranquil Guesthouse down the street. I enjoyed the steak with vegetables and mulva pie for dessert. Very friendly staff and the manager walked me back to my place after the meal

Nice to sleep over got everything you need at hand in the rooms. Great service.8 Rooms: Nice and comfy. Very safe ,great food o the menu.

Could definitely tell this place is under new management. Standards have dropped significantly! Won't be going back for sure! Rooms: No back up generator for paying guests! While the office and kitchen run off the generator but paying guest's sit in the dark! Pathetic New Management. Food & drinks: Disgusting!!!!! Breakfast was floating on oil!!!! Dinner, when requesting condiments they want R28 for mayonnaise!!!!!

Had zero expectations, but this place was wonderful! The shower was hot and excellent, and then bed was absolutely divine. Also, Patrick was so lovely and gave us a free upgrade after a mixup. Thanks again for that! Definitely the best place to stay in Dundee

Well they have nice beautiful place, but their worker's are not active...they are not welcoming and that makes everything dim because of their attitude Rooms: They need to work on their plugs, and bulbs, for example, their fridge was not working, lights in bathroom was not working. So they need to check everything before they allocate people, other than that their Food was awesome, beautiful room and I give them 09/10 for the decor

Visited the Oval this evening and had the absolute worst experience. Their portion sizes and attitude from the manager, Tina left a lot to be desired. This place has really changed and is not up to the same standard it was a week ago, after being regulars we definitely will not be returning.Rooms: 1/5

I go here from time to time, the food is nice. The environment is nice and relaxing. However I wasn't happy when they neglected to bring us our drinks on Valentines day. We waited for the drinks, we even reminded them but still we had to wait some more. We ended up leaving.

It's beautiful here and affordable, reasonable and everything you need, you get.Rooms: 5/5

Lovely place. Lekker atmosphere. Food is really good!!! Definitely worth the trip from Newcastle to Dundee. Will go there again!!! Food & drinks:
