Cayley Lodge is located in the central Drakensberg, overlooking the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges. The Bell Park Dam lies within easy access from the resort grounds and is the central of many leisure activities. Go fishing or enjoy a ride on one of our Cayley Cruiser barges. This modern lifestyle resort offers side by side chalets spread along the ridge, and offer magnificent views over the dam towards the mountains. Our on-site staff will help make every bit of your holiday as comfortable as possible and you can find them, ready to help, at reception.

Please note that our Facebook page is monitored by our Head Office staff and all queries will only be attended to weekdays between 08:00 - 16:00.

This is a lovely place located in Drakensburg. The view from the restaurant is so beautiful. It has a basketball/tennis court,golf court, jumping castle quad bikes and other activities. Their rooms have a nice small patio. I wish they have microwaves on their rooms.Rooms: 4/5

Awesome resort.  Last section of road leading to resort is not so nice, but as long as you drive slowly, it is fine.  I would not suggest a low profile type car be used. Views and units absolutely beautiful!

We were thankfully prepared for the road after reading other reviews. Beautiful resort, immaculately clean and neat rooms, friendly staff, outstanding views and plenty of activities!  The private heated splash pool in the unit was a wonderful added surprise. What a great stay! We will definitely be back Rooms: 5/5

It's amazing, it's a lovely quiet, restful, good for the soul place. Love coming here. Very pleasant from book-in to leaving, staff very pleasant.  All round enjoyable   Rooms: Rooms are lovely, pretty decor, spacious and well kept and comfortable.  Safety: Very safe.  Walkability: Able to walk around all over, pathways all round, we&#39;re elderly and had no problem walking.

This is my first visit to this Lodge, breath taking and awesome views of the Sterkhorn and Cathkin Peaks mountains. Beautiful views overlooking the Bell Park Dam. Really enjoyed our four day visit. The roads to the resort is in a deplorable state, several potholes, driving a bit difficult if you don't have all terrain vehicles.

A beautiful resort with stunning views of the dam and the mountains. Members of staff were very hospitable and friendly. Lots of daily activities with prizes for winners. Thoroughly enjoyed the getaway.Rooms: 4/5

Great place with absolutely beautiful views. The showers made a big mess as there was no door or extractor fan.  It made the bathrooms very slippery and a risk. The fun activities program is not followed. We wanted to participate in the quiz, but no one knew anything about it. All other activities come with a surcharge.  The road leading up to the lodge I would rate a 0 out of 10. There are literally 1000s of potholes.

A fantastic, most relaxing stay at Cayley's Mountain Resort.  Everything you can possibly need is right here at the resort, whether you're a kid or an adult.  Rooms with a view, and the most deliciously soft beds. Food that's fresh and delicious and they take special care of vegetarians and whip up custom meals with a smile on their faces, the GM is the king of curries, I must add.  There's a convenience store that has all kinds of little things that you may have forgotten to pack. The spa is good too.  The best of all though are the planned activities that change daily. The entertainment lady has an incredibly quirky personality and she is so easy to love. The activities are really well planned and there's something for everyone, including something that's physical.  There's a beach club on the property. There's also quad biking. Check my review on GZ Adventures and LEAP adventures to know more about those .  The reception ladies, the housekeeping staff, all excellent. And resort facilities like large open chessboard, multiple swimming pools, a jumping pillow, hammocks, putting range, game room... everything is just... fab for lack of enough adjectives.  Do visit, this is the tranquil, fresh air vacation you didn't know you needed.  Rooms: Beautiful rooms with a view. The beds are soft and to die for.  Nearby activities: Quad biking, horse riding off property, beach club.  Food & drinks: Vegetarian friendly, delicious food. No buffet at breakfast, fixed menu to pick from.  Noteworthy details: The GM is a whiz with Indian curries. They are not on the menu but you definitely should request a meal.
