Beautiful place with Great views. Excellent service with great food. Staff are very friendly and place is very clean. The atmosphere is very quiet, calm and and relaxing. Attended a 40th birthday celebration for a family member. Beautiful place to celebrate just about anything. Great ambience. Hall very well decorated. Even though I must say the road in some parts leading to was quite bad with plenty of loopholes and uneven road, as we traveled from Durban, it's a bit of a stretch.Service: 3/5

Beautiful place, only let down by human interaction. Staff engagement levels are super low. More training can fix this. Beautiful quiet place. Will improve score on next visit once basic customer interaction training happens. Genuine warmth and enthusiasm needed when greeting clients, Especially locals spending money on a very short trip away. It is a beautiful place , but can rely on nature alone for high ratings.

The hotel is beautiful. Amazing wedding venue. The food was beautifully presented, starters were great but our steaks were overdone which we sent back and waited for a very long time to get back. Potatoes were hard. Service was slow considering there was only two tables occupied.

Terrible attitude from chef sthembile, my husband and I didn't know what time the kitchen closes we went to order dinner at 9:05 she said the kitchen is closed. I asked her to serve us anything from the left overs she said she's busy with customers and walked away. By the way it took her 30 minutes to come talk to ke after I asked the lady at the reception to call her for me, the lady came back and said she said she's busy cleaning the machines in the kitchen and when she came she said she's busy serving customers as she walked away. We went to bed hungry

Oh my, I love love love Mount Shekinah. This was my second visit, I previously came for a conference hosted one of the venue's on the property. The venue is also great for weddings, with a chapel with breathtaking views. This is the best getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busy life, by far the best family holiday ever. We stayed at the farmhouse, which can accommodate 10 or more depending on your requirements. The house is beautifully furnished and every detail is well thought out. The staff is welcoming and very hospitable. From reservations to housekeeping, everyone is absolutely great. We were well taken care of and are grateful. The food is absolutely amazing and generous. We had the most amazing Christmas lunch.

Wow. Will definitely come back. Had a fabulous weekend. Room was so clean, staff were so friendly, oh the food. Picnic by the jacuzzi we are coming back again. Last but not least, thank you Avela the receptionist, you had no complaints even after countless calls and request, you were always smiling. I had no complaints. It’s a place to be.
