The staff are very helpful. Just need to change the carpet in the lobby to a modern look. For some reason I loved the vintage lift. The only negative issue is that the hotel does not have its own secured parking and therefore you need to park at a parking lot about 3 minutes away. Safety of going back to the hotel then becomes a issue at night. Overall had good stay and the room was to my satisfaction. Will go back there again
I loved my stay there. The rooms are very good especial the one on the ground floor. The top rooms gives you an ocean view but I loved the ground floor better. They serve excellent breakfast. Am on my way to Johannesburg the breakfast is still doing its thing.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we were welcomed by the security, everyone was so helpful and the Chefs and cleaners were very kind to us. The place was very clean and the breakfast was scrumptious, we enjoyed each and every moment of our stay. We will definitely go back on our next vacation. i recommend Parade Hotel to everyone.
The breakfast was good, the location is also good because it's just by the sea. But the time I visited the place was not clean at all, I'm sure it was because they were renovating. The place was dirty and the was a smell of paint all over. But I think when they fish renovations, it will be a nice placeRooms: 3/5
Amazing breakfast, amazing staff and a beautiful view to the beach. Not happy with the lift though. Its slow, only takes 4 people at the time and on other floors you cannot tell if its moving or not. Rooms: The rooms are neat and clean with a beach biew Nearby activities: The hotel is close to the beach and shops. Its easy access to clothing and food outlets. If you forgot something at home, worry less you will find it nearby Walkability: Walking distance to the beach, food and clothing outlets. There are even street vendors closeby in case you want to add on Food & drinks: The breakfast was delicious and enough. There is enough space in the dining hall to occupy most people
Rooms very neat and clean. No microwave in room due to upgrades. The lift was terrible, very old and took a long time to come down at any point. No secure parking, car was dented with a door on the 1st night Staff very friendly but not very helpful Rooms: 4/5
The rooms are very nice and clean although the building itself is very old. I had a beautiful Seaview and breakfast was nice too except for one of the ladies that was serving it, very rude ke unono! Besides the breakfast lady everything else was beautiful and worth even more than what I had paid.Rooms: 5/5
It been 10years since my last visit, wow they improved a lot. I like how reasonably they are, especially for the family rooms. It on the beachfront extra tick for meRooms: 5/5
The hotel is ok, well situated. They just need to beef up kitchen staff. I did not like the mess in the dining area during breakfast, dripping dishes and alwaays having to wait for cutlery or bowls. The recepption staff was very helpful and friendly.
I was there this past weekend I did not enjoy my stay Here are the issues I have 1. The room I stayed in it smell mold,put the extractors in the bathrooms and remove the small windows 2. The staff in the kitchen is too slow,and you can't let a person who prepares food to clean tables as well control the door.you are locked out when you want to come and have breakfast 3. Your public toilets are Infront of guests rooms of which its not conducive to guests as the public that drink at the bar they go to those toilets and disturb the peace of guests 4. Guest don't have drinking water placed with a jug. 5. In the 2 days of staying there,the linen was not changed including the bathroom dustbin not being emptied.
