Noisy, bathroom really need a make over. Mold on the bathroom tiles. Cockroachs to lookout for. Don't understand why they give breakfast menu, when they end up providing a buffet, with limited food choice. Entrance door to room needs to be fixed. Spend one night and would not recommend it for a person used to 4 star hotel , this is definitely 1 or 2 star hotel.
It's in a great location & very much closer to the sea & other tourist attractions... But I would be very much happy if the staff could take much more interest & seriousness about their jobs...Rooms: 4/5
Everything was good bar 2. Charged a fee of R50 p/d for parking. This should be included in the rate. The food in the res was horrible. Wings were rotting and smelly and the ribs were highly undercooked and too spicy for my liking. Room service was good, sheets were clean and shower big and water was good 3and half scoringRooms: 4/5
The security guy at the door was friendly and helpful, the guys at the reception were also friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff some of them were rude. The guy at the bar is rude and impatient. We wanted an iron and we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for it. The room was very spacious and clean but the bathroom not so clean. The basin had toothpaste paste in it. Their food was not so great. But all in all we enjoyed our stay. Safety: There are securities at the door and that makes you feel safe as a person.
The entrance always looks so well lit up. The staff at the front desk are so warm, professional, and helpful. The Pavilion hotel is ideal for meetings and functions. Perfect location... awesome vibe ... If u need a venue call themLocation: 4/5
The entrance is clean and beautiful and the lift is working fine. No windows in the toilet. The doors are damaged and the breakfast is not nice. Can share one plug in a room. It has hairdryer. There's extra blanket in the room.Rooms: 2/5
We celebrated a 21st birthday party at the Pavlion Hotel on the 01st of April 2023. The events co ordinator Jim, was extremely accommodating, his service was outstanding. The food was amazing, the bar service was great. The accommodation was 5 star. Highly recommend them for a function and accommodation. Rooms: Rooms were clean, linen fresh and spotless, showers comfortably and luxurious Safety: I felt safe, they have good security and safe parking Food & drinks: Food is excellent
Sheets were not changed until we say so. Tea and coffee were not filled in time. Cups were not given until we asked for them. There were no glasses supplied for during water.. The staff makes the loudest noises, especially in the morning shift. They call each other and have loud conversations when the shift starts. They wake the guest up. I loved the breakfast though. It was out of this world Nearby activities: Walking to the beach in evening was a bonus Safety: Security is present all the time Food & drinks: Divine food, will definitely try dinner next time. Breakfast was a winner for me.
The hotel looks good,but the furniture in the rooms is too old.some of the pedestals are peeling off.they need to change the furniture. Noise from other rooms with kids was unbearable. Airconditioner in the rooms was not working. Walkability: Easy access to the beach
