Good service and the room was nice, clean sheets too.The breakfast was great but it's also In nice location even though it's not beachfront. It did smell a bit musky, would suggest that the windows be open more often. Either than that, truly a pleasant experience... Would definitely come backRooms: 4/5
Nice location. Rooms are not so good for adults. Design is beautiful from outside. Great security from parking to rooms. Large parking and undercover. Good breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. I did not like the design of the rooms with cupboards like student accommodation.Rooms: 3/5
Kindly address the issue of moist....it gives bad odour. And please get double beds instead of single beds brought together. The food, and the reception area is awesome but there is a room for improvement regarding your services, even walking up and down to get an iron and iron board is so unnecessary. Usually in every floor in hotels there is an ironing room with an iron and ironing board. Your staff is awesome, very friendly and warm
Lovely classy establishment situated in a safe part of town.The aesthetics are chic with rich colours and stunning murals. We enjoyed our stay, especially the well designed rooms, our wholesome breakfast buffet and the luxurious pool. Great reviews on the mobile spa option even though we didn't try it out. Only delays were the lack of consistent presence at reception when we arrived we had to peek into the admin room just behind reception as well as in the morning for a bit. A sore point was our booking for 2 which was 2 single beds put together and 2 single bed bedding which we could not use individually or combined as a couple. We called reception and they could not help with different bedding as housekeeping had closed the linen room. Hoping the few snags are sorted by our next visit.
On the good side: The hotel was close to casino, beach front etc. The hotel was also clean and up to its standards hygiene wise. On the other hand: The beds where very low and almost felt like you where sleeping only on a sofa. The fire alarm went off in the evening and when we called and asked where the stairs would be in case of an emergency in future, it’s wasn’t clear as to which sections of the building had stairs and when we asked for directions they couldn’t answer.
Onomo is located in the city’s centre. This works perfectly for me because I am able to access anything and everything easily. It is also near the beach. It’s a beautiful hotel aesthetically pleasing on the eye, and has a restaurant. I’m very picky with my breakfast, and I can safely say they will satisfy your tastebuds. The staff is very friendly. The room is a standard size. It’s always clean.
Located close to the Durban beaches and the City center making it very accessible. The reception area is calm with an open design overlooking the Restaurant. The reception was not busy when we arrive and we had to call them from the back to complete the check-in process. Besides that, the check-in process was simple and quick. The rooms have a unique and simplistic design. The beds are comfortable and overall the room was pretty clean. The pool area is clean, and although it was small, it was aesthetic and a lovely place to relax. The breakfast buffet takes the prize for the best amenity at Onomo. The buffet had everything that one would need for breakfast as well as an omelet station. There is also secure parking available at the hotel. Besides the reception being empty whenever we went there. Our interactions with the hotel employees were always positive and left us feeling like our needs were being met.
Rooms had a damp smell. According to our experience, they are definitely not guest oriented. We were on leave, the Monday morning wanted to order beer just to be told that the bar only opens 11h00. Saw the rooftop bar sign, said would like to see the view from their, told the rooftop is only open on weekends. Was not a good experience overall.
I had an unpleasant experience on the first night, the corridors were chaotic and noisy and could not reach the reception for assistance. I reported to the manager the next day and we were given a different room that was in a quite location. We slept better for the rest of our stay. Thanks to the manager for addressing our complaint and ensuring a comfortable stay at the hotel.
I say there's no better place than booking with Onomo hotels all over the world. True meaning of hospitality is practised here. They go lengthy to aim and please their valued customers. I tell you book with these people and you'll never regret where you've placed your money. Their Roof top Topaz restaurant is a must see and dine at. House keeping is doing a remarkable job Keeping this facility as sparkling clean as ever. The breathtaking views of the ocean is a wanna be self experienced. Oh my god ONOMO screams my name
