Five star gym with 5 star coaches. I became a member in July 2021, looking to improve my fitness, as walking up a flights of stairs left me out of breath. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Not having any experience in strength/ conditioning training, Hannah introduced me to the exercises and tailored them back to suit my level of fitness. The workouts are like a one to one training session because the classes are nice and small. After getting into a routine I joined the nutrition program also run by the gym, as I wanted to change my relationship with food and loose weight. Since then I have lost a lot of body fat and gained muscle with so more more body confidence. I can honestly say this gym has changed my life for the better, I look forward to the workouts and love to see the visible results and improvement. Joining the phoenix was one of the best decisions I have made, so if you are thinking about joining just give them a call, you won’t regret it
The amazing culture, friendly staff, and structure of Phoenix has helped me to finally become consistent in attending the gym. The Phoenix app is super easy to use to map out your sessions each week. They hold challenges throughout the year that are tailored for every fitness level and make them fun. I haven't looked back since I joined this gym, it's the best decision I have made in my fitness journey.
I joined 3 months ago looking to improve my core & strength to help my running. it’s the best thing I’ve done. It’s a 5 star Gym with top class coaches. They cater for every level. Plenty of classes daily to suit everyone. Classes are small & personable with good help & accountability in every class, that’s exactly what I need. I started slow and can see massive changes in my strength already. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve basic strength, even if just for everyday life.
I starting attending Phoenix Nutrition last year as I had put on some weight and wasn’t feeling great about myself. Initially, I went for the nutritional advice and guidance. I have learned a huge amount from Colin. I find the app very useful. It allows me be accountable daily and helps me stay on track. I can easily send pictures of meals, water intake, snacks etc as required. In recent weeks, I started attending the gym classes. Initially I was skeptical about attending these cl I am more of an outdoor person and I had never done anything like this before. The instructor are very helpful and reassuring in showing you how to do the exercises and use the equipment ensuring at all times that you are doing them safely and avoiding personal injury. I found the other people in the group to be very friendly and welcoming. It’s amazing how a tough workout can be so enjoyable. This is also down to fun factor the staff and participants bring to the class. In my working day, I have never before made time for myself, but now I commit to going to the gym 3 times a week. I find it’s great for my mental and physical well-being.
I joined Phoenix at the end of 2022 as I felt stuck in a rut with my fitness. Initially I wanted to try PT because I was nervous of working out in a class with everyone else. I'm so glad that I decided to give the classes a try first because everyone is so nice so friendly and supportive! I was worried people would judge me for being unfit but everyone is so encouraging and honestly when the workout starts everyone just concentrates on their own stuff! I feel like I'm finally seeing results with weight loss and am loving the feeling of getting stronger and fitter week on week! All the coaches are so knowledgeable and are always happy to give any help/advice. I'm really glad I joined and look forward to progressing with the help of everyone at Phoenix :
I joined Phoenix almost 2 years ago , since starting all the coaches were so inclusive and friendly, it can be very intimidating walking into a new gym, they help with technique and will push you out of your comfort zone when needed ! I did their nutrition program for a year and Colin is great , he held me accountable with my nutrition and training. My eating habits and mind set have completely changed since starting the program and I am confident with my nutrition and food choices but mostly I can enjoy delicious food without feeling guilty or the need to spent hours doing cardio to burn it of!
Physical activity is a great way to keep your body and mental health in good shape. And in my case, it turned out to be one of the ways to overcome depression. I am very excited to be a part of the team in Phoenix. From the first day I felt welcome at every training session. Always a friendly atmosphere, various trainings, professional coaches and joint holidays and walks have become a part of my life! It's hard to imagine a better start to the day than a morning workout in Phoenix.
When I joined Phoenix in September 2021 I was looking to kick-start my exercise routine again after a number of years of only exercising intermittently and without any real purpose. After a quick chat with Paddy and the onboarding session with Hannah, I started into a regular routine of attending 2/3 classes a week. Fast forward to 2023 and I now aim to get 4 classes in a week. It was so tough in the beginning, but with the continuous support of all the coaches, I absolutely love coming into the classes each morning now. Since joining, I have seen a huge improvement in my strength and overall fitness, which I hope to improve on even more over the next few months as I work with Hannah on the nutrition programme. I had been to other gyms over the years, but Phoenix is like no other. Firstly, the class format is excellent, particularly the demonstrations of each movement. The coaches are very knowledgeable and there is a real emphasis on form and technique. They create such a positive and encouraging environment which is so important when you have people with varying abilities. I could not recommend Pheoenix highly enough. Thanks to all the team there, keep up the amazing work!
Really motivating team that help participants at all levels. Probably unlike others , I attend gym to maintain my heath and not necessarily go to the Olympics. The Phoenix team is shaping the “ best physical version of me” . Really grateful, great value , cannot recommend highly enough!
I am a long time member having started when my fitness and motivation levels were low.. But there is no judgment no matter your age or level of fitness or strength you are at.. only continuous encouragement and support from the coaches and other members! Because of this I am now stronger and fitter than I have ever been! This is a top class gym with top class people and I could not recommend it more!!
