My favorite Virgin Active Gym. Albeit a bit on the small side, it is quite roomy and well laid out. And the pool is secluded in the corner, no one staring at you while you swim from cardio machines It has a good Kauai too. Plenty of seating area too if you want work a bit here
Not a bad gym but very cramped ie: only 1 squat rack. More equipment is needed; even though there are collectively 4 barbell machines, there are only 1 set of clips.
I've been coming here for sometime now. Its a great little facility with every equipment you might need and friendly staff. Even during load shedding they are operating. On the down side their steam room is unisex, which was a bit odd. All in all I would recommend this facility.
There’s an inside job with stealing peoples possessions. Happened to my best friends little brother two days ago. 31 May 2023. This isn’t the first incident I’ve heard of. Something needs to be corrected.
Good gym, however the weights and machines are old and rusty. The dumbbells are also never put in the correct place so you spend time finding two of the same weight
This gym is always clean, the staff are so friendly and the vibe is perfect for your workout routine
the Kauai inside is being held hostage by “policy” that unless are members of this gym are unable to order/eat inside. Encountered very rude, need to be retrained in contact with the public Trevor and arrogant, pushy, impolite Pindile ? who both after explaining their “policy” continued to try to hassle me. i laughed. this has never happened in any of the previous times i’ve gone inside to eat at Kauai. i still ordered & ate my food in the Kauai. even once security came over while still eating. will not be returning.
The staff are friendly enough and the gym clean however a number of the cardio equipment forever out of service, two of the three elliptical machines have been out of order for weeks now and the one that does work, the step is wonky so uncomfortable to use. They also recently installed water dispensers that require electricity to work which makes no sense,the manual ones worked fine and you could previously get water during loadshedding, this is no longer the case.
It only has one squat rack. However it seems decent enough
You will be lucky if your phone is not stolen,my phone was stolen and I tracked it and it was in the locker rooms for 6 hours and left gymn during staff shift change.What does that tell you?
