The Pniël Museum is much more than just a museum. It tells the story of how a former Mission Station, established by the Apostolic Union in 1843 for the freed slaves and other blacks, grew and developed into the peaceful village of today.

Don't rush through Pniel. Stop at the museum and make time to learn about the rich history of this little town.
Spent a marvelous Heritage Day here. What a quaint and beautiful village! Loved hearing the heritage stories from a number of residents. Really enjoyed the braaiied chicken and salads from the tea room too!
