Pilates - a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises, It strengthens and tones muscles, results in increased flexibility and balance, improves posture and ultimately creates a more streamlined shape. Pilates is used extensively for rehabilitation but can be tailored to suit any individual.
Ashtanga - flow aims to synchronize one’s breath with a sequence of postures. The sequence is steady but relatively fast flowing in nature. Each posture is held for one to five deep breaths. The breathing, combined with the steady flow, creates an internal heat within the body. This heat allows muscles to safely stretch increasing flexibility, as well as eliminating toxins.
Stretching - Pure stretch classes can be tailored to the individuals needs. Regular stretching will reduce muscle tension, greatly improve circulation, reduce stress and fatigue, improve mental alertness, and decrease the risk of injury from other sports and/or movements.
