Samsung south africa has instructed me to go to vodacom eastrand to have a phone repaired under waranty1 year old just to be told they won't honor this due to damage, this phone is in mint condition and well looked after. The damage is a black line down the middle of the fold, google is full.of complains about the same issue world wide. This is a manufacturing fault and not usage... I spent my R 40 000 expecting this to be good product.
An absolutely pathetic excuse for a global brand! Zero accountability for their promoted and promised delievery. I upgraded to the s23 which was promoted with a free galaxy tablet . The claim was successful after 2 weeks of attempting and escalating to Samsung support. The promo promised delivery within 7-14 days from claim submission. It's been almost 2 months already and everytime I escalate , I get ridiculous responses . Samsung is attempting to absolve themselves from their clearly marketed commitment. If a claim is successful, how can you then go back on your promotional offer ? It's pathetic and also the 2nd time I've been cheated with a Samsung promotional upgrade . I still haven't received my samsung gift from the s21 promo upgrade. Your partner stores are none the better, as I raised this concern when doing my upgrade and was promised that I'd receive my tablet so long as I followed up with them. Absolutely appalling ! Why lie to promote your products ? Is there no ethical standard to which Samsung is accountable?
Service received and still receiving is poor. Mean while my warranty is still valid. Technicians send to my house more than three times but the problem is still not resolved. My calls are constantly dropped. Treatment not good at all.
Not only is there service appalling. They won't give me the MF spec on a little CAPACITOR cost under R100 as they want me to fork out R2000 for a new motor. CAPACITOR SIZE IS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION ....wth??? Will NEVER EVER buy another SAMSUNG PRODUCT. My house looks like a SAMSUNG MUSEUM All SAMSUNG.....but no more??!!!!!!
Purchased a washing machine from Samsung online on the 14th December 2022, it arrived damaged and was reported so on the same day. We were told that it would only be collected the following Friday and that a refund can only take place some weeks later. It has now been a month. To this date we have e-mailed several times and called asking when and where a courier will be sent to collect this machine and we are getting no response. Calling customer service is a waste of time as you can barely understand what the consultant is saying. This is truly the worst customer service experience we ever expected from such a big company. I doubt that Samsung will even respond to this review. Another big corporate company forgetting the value of what a good review could have done .
This rating is for the Mugg and Bean tuck shop at the foyer. They conveniently did not mention that they do not supply the complimentary coffee for Samsung and that the complimentary coffee is at the vending machine next to them. I had to pay R 57.00 for the cappuccino! If you visiting Samsung and have to wait 30 minutes like I have been waiting and you are offered coffee make sure it's the free one from Samsung! Otherwise prepare to lose some rands. To Samsung staff, please ensure that you direct your customer to the right place for the complimentary coffee that you offer customers !
Bunch of liars! Advertise a dual sim phone and deliver a single sim. Although “it’s their fault” I sit here sucking my thumb and no communication from them. Such customer service!
I am still waiting for my galaxy buds. It's been over 2 years now. Processes were followed and eventually I was promised after 1 year that it would be sent. Since then no communication. My emails are ignored. Very disappointing.
I purchased a Samsung cooker and when it arrived it was defective. I notified Samsung and they said they will send out a technician to resolve the issue.ot took 3 months for the tech to come through to inspect the unit and since then I have had now communication from Samsung. I was promised a callback but clearly communication isn't one of Samsungs strong points! I've heard great things about LG, though so next time they can have my money!
Did a Trade-in deal on a S22 with a "guaranteed" trade-in offer of R10k. It has been 6 weeks and I just received another email stating payment is delayed. Trade-in device has been with Samsung for more than a month. Did Samsung run out of money?!
