The centrepiece of San Lameer’s magnificent domain is the 18-hole championship golf course which has recently hosted the SA Womens Open. Beautiful place engulfed in nature. Peaceful and serene, just what we needed. The villa 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything we required. Also very clean! Lots of monkeys to be aware of. Access to a private beach controlled by wearing a tag. Kid friendly venue. Overall lovely vacay with the family.
This venue is well worth the money. On the golf course and easy access to a Blue flag beach. There are many activities and lovely facilities. The staff are very friendly and informative. There is even a small Spar on site.Rooms: 5/5
We've had such a beautiful time here. It was not the first time and it will DEFINITELY not be the last. We haven't even started to explore all the possible activities in and around... but the beach was just what we needed. Do remember your shoes if you plan to stay on the beach for a while, the sand becomes extremely HOT.Hotel highlightsGreat value
The service at San lameer hotel was Absolutely outstanding. The hotel manager and staff handled our crisis extremely well! Your staff is well chosen, we are amazed Special thanks to Joyce and Nicky, you really took care of us. The Reception staff was welcoming and helpful at anytime.
Quite a high quality place. Great swimming pool, beach isn't overcrowded, good walking path, very well maintained, everything is walk distance, hotel's restaurant sells nice food fancy Worst part was the loadshedding as there aren't any big generators. I would highly recommend this place.
spent the weekend here with my family . overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. breakfast was 10/10 and so was the dinner. clean facilities, comfortable rooms with complimentary bottled waters. definitely worth the visit
The hotel room was modern and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were available but the coffee, tea and sugar were limited. The restaurant did not inform us that a buffet was served the night we stayed instead of the Al' a cart offered at reception. There was a conference happening that day hence the buffet that was extremely limited. I was not happy with this.
Amazing resort with so much on offer. They have thought of everything. There is so much to do. Perfect place for kids. Amazing swimming facilities. Beautiful wildlife. Wonderful stay! Safety: Very safe Walkability: Close to pool and sea
San Lameer is hard to beat as a holiday venue for the whole family. Security at the estate is excellent, the resort is well maintained and staff are super helpful and friendly. There are activities for the whole family too numerous to mention here and access to the beach is easy.
We spent 1 week in the hotel over Christmas 2022. The xmas luncheon was R 495 per person and it was terrible. We had to keep asking for plates to dish up, the food was not warm and some of it was raw with no sauces or gravies with the meats at all. The hotel manager wore slippers on xmas day which tells me that there is no professionalism at all, as this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing for such an expensive price. The hotel is in desperate need of fixing. The wood is rotting on the railings, the WiFi is almost non existent. The patio doors are very difficult to open a door close. The golf course and the rest of the estate is absolutely stunning and well looked after. I recommend the private villas rather as they are well taken care of. Will never book at the hotel ever again
