Our company used to order on line all the time Staff lunches/ Banting breakfasts and platters for customers, until an incident in March 2017 when a driver was over an hour late for a specificly requested and confirmed time and the platter arrived manhandled. There was no sufficient feedback from SB and we decided not to use them again. Earlier this year I thought I'd give them a chance again. Food arrived over an hour late and was ice cold- gross. Our accounts lady tried them a few weeks ago- Banting breakfast took well over an hour and a half to arrive and food was cold too. You've lost a bunch of customers here due to terrible service.
My problem seems to be the same as everyone's, food is great but delivery is ALWAYS late. perhaps if i order at 8AM and mark it for ASAP, i'll receive my food at 10AM? This restaurant is in an industrial area. Appointments need to kept. I suggest you do something to rectify this problem as it's been happening for years.
Always late with deliveries. Even on Mr D they always late. The worst part is u paying so much for a simple sandwich and they still take forever to prepare food. Definitely won't be ordering from sandwich baron again.
I phoned in an order at 08:00 in the morning for delivery at 11:45 for an important client lunch. At 11:55 I called to find out where my order was as it was late and people are busy and the clients had finished the tour and Q&A earlier than expected so had already been sitting chatting for 45min. The lady couldn't tell me where the driver was or how long he would be and also at this point she told me the driver had left the drinks we ordered behind so I told her to please find out where he was and how long he would be and not to go back for the drinks but to come directly to us. I waited an additional 20 min and called again for an update and was told sorry she hadn't been able to get hold of him she would try again and so on and so on. Eventually at 13:00 an hour and 15 min late the driver arrived with the platter and drinks. One of the clients eventually left without eating after a morning touring our facilities. This was an extremely poor reflection on Sandwich Barron and even more so on us as we were made to look dis-organised and unprofessional which is extremely damaging to the companies image and to mine personally as the person responsible for ensuring that there were refreshments served in a timely manner. I am extremely disappointed and will not be risking my reputation placing an order with Sandwich Barron again. I know this may seem silly and an over reaction but please consider placing yourselves in our shoes.
This place is utterly useless!!! Not only do they take 2 hours to deliver, they can't even get a simple two person order right. Delivered completely the wrong food!! Won't ever use them again!!! UPDATE They eventually brought what I ordered, NOT! Again wrong, this time right items, but the toppings mixed up. Half of what should be one on the other, one topping missing, and one topping we didn't order at all!!!
I thought our company will give them a try, we ordered for the first time today. Big mistake!! After an hour waiting for the food I phoned them ,and like the previous reviews, she informed me that they are still waiting for a driver, so it can still take another hour or so waiting,. Needless to say I canceled the order. We won't be making use of they're services again!!!
The store comes across as grubby. The staff aren't very friendly, seemed like a chore to serve me. Food was OK.Food: 4/5
Food Good as always, but very dissapointing delivery service as this is the second order that has taken almost 1 hour and 30 mins to deliver... 10-09-2020, ordered again today and another hour and a half wait. Will be my last order.

The Sandwich Baron in Lambton is completely useless, they can't even fulfill an order on some of their Standard Menu items as they seem to be out of stock of some of the basics. if the store can't provide clients with Standard Menu Items then rather just close your doors and save everyone the misery of dealing with your establishment. Definitely the first and last time we will ever try and order anything from this pathetic excuse for a restaurant.
