conservancy you will find the Slanghoek Mountain Resort with the most beautiful
camping sites in the Western Cape. It is a haven for those who can appreciate

offers adventure filled walks for nature lovers. To accommodate you, we have self
catering accommodation chalets, safari tented camp sites as well as camping with

We camped at Slanghoek Mountain Resort for 3 nights during March 2023. The private bathroom was never cleaned during this period and the door does not close properly. The camping site is not clean. There was small plastics and other litter all over our stand. No view of the beautiful surrounding mountains the big trees block your view. The same trees also block the sunlight and therefor you don't have any grass on the stand. When it rains, it is all muddy. I will never return to this resort.
If you camp, just bare in mind loadshedding. They have electricity but not when loadshedding. Also roads are a bit muddy when it rains. You get your own bathroom which is amazing and a gas geyser so instant hot water. Beautiful place to stay in the vineyards. So peaceful. Will go again.Rooms: 4/5
Winter Glam-ping in style . Surrounded by greenery, mountains , very quiet getaway .. outdoor hikes or jog as the place is massive , yet safe . They have a cute intimate chapel , chalets, modern tents , eco chalets , breakfast on site , gift shop and local store on site , very convenient, they also 5 mins down the road from wine tastings in rawsonville... you get a 15% discount voucher if you buy wines at the slanghoek Winery.. worth a purchase.
Platbos Log Cabins are an amazing choice for a luxurious and secluded getaway. With towering majestic mountains, birdlife, exquisite fynbos and expansive views, it's the perfect choice for a special and memorable time. Well worth a regular visit. Noteworthy details: You will need a high clearance vehicle to reach the remote cabins.
A long weekend that was planned over 6months. Our family had an Easter Camp to remember. We were a group of 22 people. We were on both sides of the resort. This establishment is well looked after, Cleaning service Great, Shop on the resort 100%. Activities too much to talk about. Absolutely beautiful resort. So relaxing and with such beautiful scenery. Beautiful view of the mountain. What a getaway! The people that run the resort are also wonderful people too and reasonable.Rooms: 5/5

As an Eco estate not suitable for EV charging while away however The Worcester Mall has a fast charger about 17kms away.... Low vehicles will however have issues especially when staying at the Pear Cabins as there are several Hectic speed bumps/ stormwater redirection devises.. Roads are more suited for higher SUV's or 4x4s...oh and bring loads of bug spray , the flies are a nightmare. All that aside it's an amazing location with picturesque views of the Valley ,mountain ranges and farm lands...and rates are really cheap...the amenities are great but expect old world charm nothing too high-tech but the peach cottages solar

Totally overpriced! Chalets seriously not up to standard for what you pay, need some serious upkeep and is very cramped. Not Wheelchair-friendly as promised. Campsites are not on the premises, and might be a problem with Groups not knpwing this, and having to split up between campsites and chalets. No cellphone reception. Website was a bit misleading. Such a beautiful valley with lots to do, hopefully they decide to upgrade and maintain the facilities soon!!
