Stilbaai Preekstoel

Really enjoyed the weekend away with the familia after such a long time of not doing it. Preekstoel is always our first choice of places to go to. First time of going there after the deaths of our parents. A bit of sad with the joy. Will recommend anyone to stay at Preekstoel. Booking in was easy and quick. Last year when we were here at Preekstoel for camping the place was nice and we decided to booked again. This time we were so disappointed and sick and tired of the continuously loud music being played from early until 2-3 the next day. There were no considerations for any other campers and I put the blame on poor/bad management of this Resort. Before you decided to come here for camping, think very hard because you will be very disappointed and unhappy with the lawlessness of this place. We've decided never to return to this place again and wished we never had to waste our money on a disastrous trip. Stay away.

Nice beach with some great looking rock formations. Good for walks and taking photos. Also a great fishing spot for equipped fisherman.

Great place to walk o from Lappiesbaai Stilbaai all the way along the beach. Just over 5km walk round trip.you can have picnic on the rocks

Wow, what a beautiful place, a little paradise. Clean beach which is awesome for walking, or fishing, or just playing in the surf.

Very nice place to camp kinda grew up year iv been camping for almost 20years here at Preekstoel and still enjoying it until today.

Gorgeous isolated place, shell middens and fascinating geology

The Preekstoel is a bit eroded, but still nice to see and the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. Stilbaai is truly a special place, both town and nature. A nice walk from preekstoel to the main beach, about 2.5km. Good exercise with the best view you can ask for. Always a lot of fishermen as well so it seems like a good fishing spot. Refreshing that it is not developed yet so it is still very much nature at its best but development has started so it might change in the future. Also, sometimes their are some interesting sea-life that has been washed up onto the beach...
