Swellendam Caravan Park

They host our bike clubs annual rally every year and are so accommodating! The camp site is very basic and municipally run; so use it as you base of operations, or bring your own entertainment. We had our DJ in the evening, a projector for the Boks game, and a slip & slide for the kids. Everything was well maintained and clean... Thanks for another year of great memories.

We enjoyed our stay. The trees and green grass gives such tranquil feeling. Just what a weary pilgrim needs. I understand the campsite was closed for nearly 2 years, so the grounds needs a little TLC. Amblutions neat and clean. I love the shed where you can write a kind word on the chalkboard wall, so unique

Perfect for an overnight stay. Quiet and clean with beautiful trees

We stayed here in July of 2016 and enjoyed an almost empty park. The ablution blocks were clean and the rate was reasonable. We were the only campers and maybe two of the bungalows were occupied.

We stayed here in a tent for four nights. We enjoyed it. The park is not geared towards entertaining guests. It's a safe place to sleep. The ablutions are fine, although the ladies' bathroom lights don't work properly. We opted for a campsite with electricity. The difference in price is nominal. If you're set on luxury, this is not the caravan park for you. If you're in need of a decent place to pitch a tent or park your caravan, by all means, pull in here.

NIce campsite with clean ablusions. Concern is the lack of security. After hours there is no access control and long staying people are entering and staying over at leisure.

But of upkeep needed but we had a nice camping spot. I the could ad more lights at sites. I bathrooms clean.

We enjoyed the serenity in the environment. We are very satisfied with our stay there - It was very enjoy enjoyable

I was surprisingly pleased at how nice this municipal camp site was. Well kept, nicely mowed and the ablutions were spotless. The lady at reception is a gem.

Friendly neat and will stay a regular stop over for many years.
