Description

Seweweekspoort is 3 hours drive from Cape Town, 1 hour from Oudtshoorn and less than 2 hours from Mosselbaai and George. Here are several self-catering cottages with electricity on different farms and also a camp site with no electricity (but warm water with gas geysers) at a small dam with black bass. Self-Catering Cottages from R150pppn and camp site R75pppn (discount for big groups and longer stay)

This is a beautiful area, well worth the drive. Peace and quiet and a warm welcome from our host Flores with freshly baked bread, butter and farm milk. Cottage was comfortable amd cosy and had everything a person needs. Will definitely visit again, especially when it snows in the mountains!
Grassed area or lots of tree for shading. The 4x4 route is beautiful, and the lack of electricity adds to the tranquility and peace one experiences between the mountains. Ablusions are rustic and clean with a few scattered taps, and bins were serviced. Most enjoyable!!
Bergzicht cottage is absolute a winner. On arival we received a still warm baked bread with 'real' butter and homemade jam. Enough Wood is supplied. High end finishings and quality appliances. Ben the owner even offered one of his bakkies to use on the rough farm trails. Hospitality at its best.
