Sushi Box

Enjoyed a quick bite to eat at your establishment yesterday. It was the first time we were there. Food was delivered to the table but after waitress didn't come ask how was food or if we needed anything else, etc. When we were done, it took awhile for our platters to be cleared then a trainee cleared our table and another waitress completed the payment process. Food was delicious tho. Thank you

I really enjoyed sushi from Sushi box that when I was craving for it, I took a walk down just to get sushi from them but was left quite disappointed. It's just not the same anymore, that even my younger brothers asked why it doesn't taste the same. Maybe we were just unlucky so will give them one last try before I find another sushi place

Tiny little sushi place hiding behind Wine Concepts in Claremont. I’ve eaten there a few times and it has remained consistent over the years. The menu offers value for money, especially if you opt for the ‘box combos’. We had the Fusion Box, which was 12 pieces for R153. We added a portion of seared tuna sashimi and we started it all off with the salmon tacos and the salmon potstickers. Everything was delish, I’d happy order any of those dishes again. And I will probably also wash it down with a carafe of rose again too!

Sushi is really amazing and they offer diverse and creative possibilities. The sushi boxes would be better if they offered combinations between prawn, tuna and salmon sushi. This would offer a good solution for persons who don't want to eat one specific kind fish sushi only : We went for dinner an hour before closing time, and we felt a bit rushed. Besides that the staff is very friendly. Vegetarian options: Veggie box 17pcs is amazing and very affordable.

Great sushi, best salmon roses in Cape Town, very helpful and friendly staff, and their homemade lemonade is delicious. Highly recommend to eat in or take away.Food: 5/5

The service was amazing and the waitress served my food to me in a timely manner and a warm smile, can't wait to go back, definitely recommending it to friends and any real lover of sushi.

Average service, average sushi. I didn’t find their crispy prawn rolls very ‘crispy’. Their specials and the prices on their menu are the same. They do not have any knives + forks on hand. I understand they’re a sushi restaurant but not everyone uses chopsticks! I noticed more than one customer needing to eat with their hands.

Delicious Sushibox & Friendly service :

Went on a Sunday around 2pm. Was about maybe half full. Only immediate issue was more due to Google, and the restaurant has a door/passage to it that is a bit tucked around the corner of the building. Once inside, we sat at the bar, and ordered the Sushi and Tiger boxes for lunch. It IS a bit smaller, so can understand reviews that state it fills up during peak hours, but after what we ate, might be worth it. Being from the States, it has been a while since we had great sushi since moving away from St. Louis. After our orders, this is quite definitely our favorite place for sushi now and we were planning to return before we even finished our meal. Service was nicely presented and well-portioned, and service was quick. Delish. Would eat again.
