Woolworths, Palmyra

Typical Woolworths experience - always on point. What I love most about this one though is that they have a coffee stand! Love the staff there, they had the best coffee recommendations!

Upon walking in two staff members walk straight into my son who I was carrying and I as their lunch break was clearly more important than a customer walking into the store with an infant. The security guard and her buddy were also having a fat chat right where we needed to sanitise our trolley. Then as I was walking through the store, wanting to purchase some salad items the male staff busy with the baked goods were talking so loudly and complaining about each other’s moods - all this in front of customers, unprofessional if you ask me. I thought there was finally hope when one staff member noticed I was looking for something. He walked me over to the aisle where it was and very politely told me and another customer where to find what we needed. He was friendly and helpful, just that ONE. The rest, wow, terrible. Just rude. At the till two female staff members knocked into me again, one knocked into me twice. They were not walking past me down an isle or anything, but through a small gap close to the tills where I was queuing. An “excuse me” would suffice, you know. And then my cashier was just TERRIBLE. She very rudely & sarcastically asked me if I was planning to swipe my cards not a “you may swipe your cards” and was annoyed at me being there. Kept rolling her eyes and sighing loudly. I was never rude nor unkind, as that is not my stance nor approach to people, I was just an inconvenience to her, it seems. Just a horrible experience. I won’t be back!

Wow!!!! This store is top notch. Have never visited before. Entrance to the store is located just a few steps from the mall's main entrance. All covid-regulations and health risk preventive measures was in full effect. Everything is neatly packed and easy to find. Aesthetically pleasing and very inviting environment. Fast cashiering services, so you do not wait in line for very long. Super efficient. Currently providing loads of discounted shopping, so make sure you have your Woolworths rewards membership card ready to cash in on those. Sign up is quick and easy. Please note, the card in question is not a credit card. Parking spots available right on site, at no charge. Operated by very helpful parking attendants. Please note that its one directional parking, be safe, be courteous and kind. One of the best Wooliesas we refer to the department store in South Africa.

One of the best stocked Woolies in the area. Friendly and helpful staff that go the extra mile to assist. A reverse vending machine was available for recycling packaging.

Great staff. I usually find parking. It's easy to get in and out if in a rush.

Coffee kiosk is too expensive for takeout coffee and other beverages. All other aspects are good.

I love this Woolworths Food. They also have the most stunning flowers!

Great place to shop, parking is a major problem at different times of the day and especially on a Friday late morning.

A great store, mostly well stocked BUT they package all bakery items in single use plastic instead of paper bags, not cool!
