My experience at Woolworths is normally great. I’m usually especially impressed with how well trained and polite the staff is, which is my main reason for shopping at Woolworths. My understanding is that if a client requests something in a particular language, the Woolworths response should be in the same language if they’re able to. That was always the case in all my previous experiences. Today was different. I requested some fast food in Afrikaans and the lady persisted in speaking English, although she understood me fully. It seemed rude and made me feel like I did something wrong. Am I too pedantic? Could somebody please tell me what Woolworths’ language policy is?
Delicious fresh produce and they always have plenty of stock, the prices are also really affordable of the fresh produce and it stays fresh for long.
..black/white printed vitality logo almost invisible..looks like they ran out of ink..the red a lot better. Question:. On web site some items marked as vitality, in store not. Eg.All Bran. Otherwise always thoroughly enjoy shopping at the plattekloof Woolworths, store staff really great, I appreciate the cleanliness and as always quality of a very good standard.
Not a very customer friendly store. They have a fridge with waters right at the entrance to the queue area for the tills which causes one to block those wanting to get past in the line. This results in an unpleasant shopping experience as one is on the receiving end of unpleasant comments from people who seem a little "uppity."
I like going to this store but the past year it happened a number of times that the food on the shelf was past the expiry date. I once bought cheese that had mold on it - when I went back to the store, there were more cheese on the shelf that were pass the expiry date some up to a month
Always a pleasure to shop there. Aircon nice and cool. Food always fresh. Friendly staff.
Great quick stop for groceries and also a lovely cup of coffee. Lots of fresh produce. There is also a hot counter for roast chicken and pies. The pepper steak pie is a fave for a quick bite. Has a selection of halaal meat as well.
We were blown away by the service from Mathaba at the cashier till from Woolworths Plattekloof. She went over and above and we havent seen client service like that in years. Mathaba, you have won new loyal customers for Woolworths Plattekloof.
The normal out of town Woolworths shopping experience. Cashiers chatting, customers waiting. Seriously understocked. Disappointing.
Always a pleasure going to this branch. Used to live in the area for about 9yrs and moved elsewhere but occasionally still go there for the great service and great foods, fruits, etc selection. And today the service was extra great, because of the very professional, friendly and helpful cashier Roche thanks for reminding me how much I miss this store
