Darko extremely rude and incompetent. He could not put a drip into my yorky. Charged double amount. We paid first account in the evening, next morning he demanded I pay the same service again, which i paid already, otherwise will not release my dog. While paying he swore at me repeatedly, because I asked for the test results. Did make a recording on my phone so I do have prove. As seen on invoices below,, double charged. We paid nearly R10 000, and doggy was still ill, had to use another vet. Please make sure before you pay. I also phoned at 20 past 8 on the morning, speaking to PJ du Ponselle, and asked for no more tests to be done. This was ignored. He Informed me my dog have kidney problems. Then subscribed tablets for heart problems without my consent. He loaded the account unnecessary with medicine out of his dispensary which I can not use. Please be diligent if you visit this vet. See attached, prescribed 1tablet a day by Y Bodington , she is not a vet, for dogs 5-10 kg. My dog weighs 1,7kg.
Rudest, most unprofessional vet I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. To name a few reasons out of many: Took my dog for a neutering special that was hosted at the time, and my bill did not reflect this special, but an increased price. Double check your invoice before walking out as it seems that double charging is also the norm.
Extremely friendly and helpful doctor and staff. Took a cat here for its yearly vaccination and the doctor was very professional and got it done in a matter of seconds without the cat even realizing what was happening until it was over. Excellent service.
Syrmiavet Veterinary Hospital has operated on more than 12 of our pets. We have never had any issues, our pets have healed and are in better condition than ever ! They are always willing to help . Doctor is always willing to give advice and answer any question. The staff has always been respectful. I never have any problems with them and will not trust anyone else with my pets like I trust them !
Absolutely stunning service from Dr. Darko I've only been there twice but will never use another vet again took my dog in for sterilization and they took good care of him, did follow up calling to hear how he's doing and same with my Rottweiler she was allergic to fleas and had no hair on her skin she was treated and now she has hair and very healthy. Good job definitely recommend Syrmiavet
Very friendly and efficient services. High quality services at the lowest prices I have experienced which is great because veterinary services can be very costly at times. The Dr. took great care of our kitten and messaged us personally when our kitty was stabilized which speaks volumes about how much he truly cares for the animals he treats as well as their owners.Thank you Syrmiavet for the wonderful community work you also do.
Having recently discovered Syrmia Vet in Secunda after trying to find a practice I could make my regular care facility for all my beloved pets, and being so impressed after my first experience with them for two of my babies, I immediately posted my thoughts about the practice on their Facebook page and encouraged everyone to highly consider joining the Syrmia Vet family. Today, it brings me great pleasure to reinforce that message. I had an emergency with one of my dogs, who jumped through a glass window this past Monday, and badly damaged their front leg. So, I had a bleeding dog and a house with a security breach, and I was alone and unable to leave the house until the window pane had been replaced. I remembered that Syrmia Vet offered a pick-up and drop-off service, which in my experience, no other vet does. I called them immediately at about 11.30am, discussed the seriousness of the wound with them, and determined what needed to be done. She wasn't in a life-threatening situation, but we had a five hour window to achieve a favourable result, and the sooner the better. True to their word, they were at my door by 13.00pm to fetch my dog and rush her back to Secunda for surgery. Relief! A couple of hours later, I received a video call from Dr Darko Zupanc to update me on my dog's surgery. Success! And at the end of a difficult day, having tended to my dog and dealt with other pet emergencies amidst the normal business of the day, my baby was delivered home to me at 20.30pm, by Dr Darko Zupanc and Yvette, in person. Amazing! I cannot tell you how fantastic it felt to know that that this particular veterinary practice is prepared to assist it's customers to the extent of fetching a sick or injured pet when you can't get to them. Obviously one would normally take their pets to the vet personally, but just to know that these wonderful people care enough to help you out in an emergency, is so soul soothing. It meant everything to me, and it has cemented my view of Syrmia Vet as my preferred animal care facility. I encourage everyone in the TEKS area, who have pets and want top notch care and service for their animal babies, to pay them a visit and get to know them. You won't be sorry! Once again, thank you so much Dr Darko Zupanc and Yvette for your love of animals and for your support of their human guardians! You actively demonstrate empathy and understanding, and a willingness to go the extra mile. It is so appreciated! God Bless you both, and I wish you only success as you cement your place in the TEKS community as a practice everyone can depend on for their animal babies!
Best vet in town. He has the most caring heart. He takes the best care of each animal and also does so much for his community. You can see the love he has for all animals. I highly recommend Syrmia Veterinary Hospital Great service everytime
