Recently started using the sauna room but was disgusted by the infestation of roaches. Please fumigate the room as it makes the experience unpleasant for the users. Otherwise great gym.
Woaw talk about a 5 star Virgin Active gym that’s secretly tucked away behind the Chili Lane shopping center. The parking turned me off at first however when I got inside the parking seemed like a thing of the past. Everything here has been revamped and it just looks and feels sooooo good from the grids on the floor to the new machinery, this gym has everything one can think of sauna steam room club V Kauai floor grids it’s just so good it makes one feel like changing gyms. The bathrooms have enough space and lots of dryers , the shower area is spanking new I mean I’m really considering changing from my gym which works because it’s right next door to this Sunninghill marvel. Thanks for making gym feel like a happy place.
Spacious, Clean and up to date gym equipment. Lots of variety on what you can do. Loved it!
If there was an option for zero stars that's what I would have selected, the consultant that I dealt with when I wanted to start my contract was amazing however I had a few issues that I needed assistance with and after I signed up that was the first and last time I've experienced any sort of positive customer service from most of the consultants including the manager.

Best virgin active in Jozi. The staff is amazing Lead by example by an amazing true leader Tessa. The trainers keep you motivated and always an earshot away for some advice and motivation. Feels like family. Hard to miss a day at the gym!
The equipment is hardly work. A few machines have been down for over a year. The speakers for music do not work for the classes. The aircon is always down.
Does everythink you would expect from a gym. Equipment is well looked after and, more importantly, cleaned often by staff.
No aircon for almost a month. Pool not usable for some time as well. Other day there was no hot water no showers with all the above. No incline sit-up, no rear delt fly, lots of personal trainers filming their clients for Instagram which is super frustrating.
Awesome gym. Very helpful staff. Great range of facilities. only downside was the incorrect debit from my account. Requested a refund. The full amount was not refunded. Still trying to get my full refund. Head office not so helpful. The lines are busy. Takes forever to get through to someone at head office. Even the representative at Sunning hill was waiting on the phone for a long time trying to help me out. He was not winning. I do hope this gets sorted out and that this does not happen again.
