Woolworths Brooklyn

I always enjoy visiting Woolworths Brooklyn and love the food at the restaurant - my only concern is the shortage of staff in the restaurant during peak hours - the 2 waitresses worked very hard and the food was as always prima - but they do need more staff during peak hours -11:00 -14:00 as they tend to forget about their customers ...I would have loved a coffee after my meal but the poor waitresses had so many tables to attend to -that they just did not have the ability to look after their first arrivals. Also I noticed that there were empty shelves in the food store - load shedding probably to blame - but yes, a reminder of the challenges our country is facing currently.

Service in ladies department is unfriendly and unhelpful. Treated with suspicion by lady at fitting rooms. Unhelpful staff in store and at payment desk where 3 assistants chat with each other while customers queue to pay. Please train staff and explain to them their duties towards customers.

I was not impressed with the lady who works at lingerie side, I think she needs to be replaced, I don’t think she likes her job or taking her job seriously. I arrived that side and she ignored me and kept herself busy on the phone, then the next minute another colleague joined her and they were gossiping, talking so loudly I could hear every detail of their conversation, then I thought they are clients like me. I had to call someone else from another section to assist me. And that person was amazed by how am I not getting any help since there are people from that section, and the lady now responded and said but she never asked for help from us! And I was like I thought you were not working here since you were busy charting and ignoring me, and they continued with their conversation and the lady who came for my rescue assisted me regardless.

Lovely atmosphere and it's not crowded, lots of nice restaurants

2 days in a row very poor Customer service.... very unfriendly and suspicious people working at the customer services

No trolleys available in store and management was rude when i asked about this. I am disabled and only have the use of one arm and they expect me just to use a basket. Woolworths trolleys are littered around the parking lot. Why do they not employ extra staff to retrieve these over the busy Christmas period?

I've only been to this Woolworths once, I'm not a big fan of the mall itself but from my first experience from this Woolworths it has been good, the staff are very helpful and friendly, it is very neat, clean and tidy and the till service is quick.

They have a lot variety in the men's section but they lack suits trouser and matching jacket. I saw only two regular fits.

Very poor telephonic etiquette, the lady who answered the phone on 03 December'22 at 12:45 at your Brooklyn branch. She didn’t have the decency to end the call with me she just resumed her conversation withe one of her colleagues before ending the call. Disappointing!!
