I am not a "Woollies" shopper generslly, but have been into a fair number of them looking for specisliaed foodstuffs. I foundvthis particular one to be a pleasure to be in, certainly one of the larger Woothworths Food stores, and well managed

Delcairn woolworths is probably the most high end woolies food store in the Durban area. They stock yummy rare stuff you can usually only get in Joburg or in Cape Town. So I go there for special things.

Convenience at its best. Nice deals, and we'll stocked.

Woolworths Delcairn offers a modest range of food goods at the usual Woolworths prices. The shop suffers at the hands of a ridiculously small parking area. While the upper crust was fighting over the miserly parkings in the front, risking all kinds of scrapes and dings to their luxurious chariots, I found a parking area at the back which at least made it possible for me to go to the shop at all! Back inside the shop, the shelves are neat and logical and easy to access. The extraordinary wait in the queue had me dumbfounded because all the tills were open - yet another logistical hurdle to a better shopping experience. In spite of the obstacles, it appears that this Woolworths remains a firm favourite of the local fans.

Most woolworths are well stocked and run well. This one is no exception. They don't have all the freshly baked goods you get from the Hillcrest and Pavillion branches but should have everything else you need.

Clean, consistently an easy in and out Woolies, plus efficient staff

Simple Centre to get most things that you need done. It's a convenient distance away from my house and i dig that.

Maybe I would have a difference experience if it wasn't a rush day. I can always try this again when it's not busy. I had done 3 Click and Collect orders and items that I had been charged for were missing. This is not just small things. Charcoal, soft drinks, whipped cream and chicken rub. I had to go back and forth as I was packing and unpacking things in the car. The two stars are for the fact the ladies who were helping with my orders were understanding and willing to assist. Otherwise this would have been a zero star experience. As mentioned, I am willing to give them another try once the Christmas rush is over.
