Absolutely amazing! Breath taking, and the pictures online do not do it justice. Even the breakfast was picture worthy! Great hospitality and the owner is such a lovely lady and makes this place really feel like your home. It was our last minute place to stay at, and we will be staying again very soon. Bed was clean and smelled just like fabric softener, soft towels, and Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner were provided. The back yard was big and fun to just relax in. Thank you!

The first saturday in december My husband surprised me with an over night stay.i felt like i was "anne shirley". I cannot say enough nice things about this place.the breakfast was amazing. Nancy is sooo nice.it was decorated throughout for a victorian christmas.oh and the fireplace was warm and relaxing.want to go again.

I cannot say enough about our stay at this nostalgic home, located just outside of Nashville, Indiana. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nancy, who took us on a brief tour of this amazing piece of history. The decor and atmosphere brought back memories of my childhood and sparked a feeling of relaxation for both my husband and me. Our room, the Maple Leaf, was warm, inviting and simply decorated. Complete with a 2-person jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, sitting area and canopy bed, we found it hard to leave for our date night! Upon returning "home" that evening, we found ourselves snacking in the kitchen and playing a quick game of rummy (he won) in the game room. Breakfast was simple and delicious, served promptly at 9 am and followed by some much needed relaxation sitting by the fire and reading the morning paper. Nancy was an amazingly host. She was most gracious and made us both feel at home. Needless to say, we'll be returning for another visit in the coming months. If you're needing some country air, relaxation, and a bit of shopping (downtown Nashville is less than 5 minutes away), 1875 Homestead is the place to go! Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple

Nancy does a great job taking care of you here! Had a great stay here when visiting Brown County.
