Story Inn

We stayed there for our anniversary, the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in the Blue Lady room and it was nicely decorated and clean. We had read somewhere that there was a claw foot tub in the room, but it's no longer there, so that was a let down. The shower was nice though, water pressure was amazing along with the shower head. Bed was comfortable. It does have a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. There aren't any electronics in the room and you don't get a cell signal, but if you're looking to disconnect this is a great location. We checked out the bar down in the basement which we thought was pretty cool, food was good and good prices on beer. Ended up eating supper down there which was good, but pretty pricey, but all food is pricey their in the Inn. We felt like the employees were nice and helpful. Its worth checking out atleast once.

Very nice weekend getaway. Story is located about 15-20 min from Nashville so be sure you bring everything you may need...pretty drive in/out tho. We stayed above the restaurant - not the most quiet location but listening to the piano on Saturday was nice. Room was fine but expect to hear your fellow guests. We had dinner there on Friday, food was good but pricey. We had a great Cincy Saver deal & so we were satisfied with the cost of the room & food; however, we would have been disappointed if we paid full price. It was a nice experience but probably won't be back.

Went to Indiana Wine Fair today, behind the Story Inn. It was warm & sunny most of the day, but could've been much worse. Lots of Portalets available & grassy areas in part shade. We took our own chairs, bug spray & sunscreen. Had 5-6 food trucks without much of a wait & 26 'wine' vendors under tents. Hard to find good dry reds... LOTS of sweet, fruity wines, hard ciders & beers. Not exactly my thing, but fun to go with BIL/spouse, hang out & visit.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Best biscuits and gravy on the planet! We stumbled upon Story and just fell in love. The staff was fabulous and it's super close to Nashville, Indiana!! Which is also gorgeous and have hundreds of shops and restaurants!

My wife and I got married here, and have been here many times! All around the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic. They have a lot of options, both fine dining upstairs and a bar downstairs. When it's warm they even have some BBQ/grilled food out back. The place is so quaint and I would say the charm is another reason we can't help but make the drive out. If you are looking to get away from the world for a few hours or a whole weekend, there are few better places!
