Wampler House Bed & Breakfast

Loved this quaint bed and breakfast!! This was my first time staying at a B&B, and I was so glad I made the choice of the Wampler House! The owners greet you at the door and treat you like family. They remembered the purpose of my visit...even down to the detail of what fraternity my son pledged. They pay attention to the little details that cookie cutter hotels have simply neglected. There are fireplaces in each bedroom, fresh pastries from the local bakery to snack on throughout the day, fresh coffee and drinks any time of the day, a 2-course breakfast prepared by the owner himself, an accomplished chef! There are so many books in the multiple sitting rooms to browse through or to curl up with a blanket and read right there! The owners also invite you to tap out a tune on the piano...which I did😊 A Victorian decorated home with beautiful period furnishings just adds to the charm of the Wampler House. My husband and I plan to return again!

This was our first experience at a b&b, we'll let me tell you it won't be our last here. Everything was fantastic, from the greeting as you walk through the door to the personal tour of the house by Zach. Zach and Donna are just wonderful. They treat you just like family from the time you arrive until the unfortunate time of leaving. If ever in the Bloomington area this is the place to stay for sure. We will be back for sure.

If I could, I'd go here every weekend! Beautiful rooms and the best breakfast I've ever had. Quiet and comfortable but fancy and very tastefully decorated. The owners became friends very quickly.

We loved our stay at the Wampler House! Donna and Zachary were the greatest hosts! The house was immaculately clean, cozy, and welcoming. We were treated to homemade cookies as we toured and the breakfast the next morning was equally delicious. We can't wait to go back!

Donna and Zach are two of the nicest people you will meet. The food is amazing. The hospitality is off the charts! We will definitely stay here again.
