A Forever Home Animal Rescue

My husband an I can't say enough about " Forever Home Animal Rescue in Tavares' Fl. They have only small dogs an what a variety they have. But most importantly is their love of what they are doing shows through so much. They have such love and compassion for these little creatures an its all done voluntarily. You can see that all the dogs are well taken care of and are so happy. We adopted "Tinkerbell" a Chihuahua mix an she couldn't be any sweeter. We had previously tried other shelter/Rescue places an were so disappointed with their lack of concern in finding these dogs a happy home...like they could care less! So through the website we found "A Forever Animal Rescue" an it was like winning the lotto. The staff is dedicated an friendly an truly love helping these dogs get adopted to good homes. Our Tinkerbell is just an absolute joy to both my husband and I an we will soon be adopting another dog into our family from "A Forever Home". So we would just like to pass this information on to others who are looking to adopt a dog into their hearts an homes.

We tried several times to adopt a dog there but someone was always ahead of us on the list. Great place. We like their policies.

Very disappointed in this place. I filled out an application for a Papillon named Piper that was just posted yesterday. Now I find she has been adopted. How can that happen? I thought there was a process to be followed in making a decision. Seems to me the adoption process was not done correctly at all. I have been trying to adopt a Papillon now for the last 6 moths or more. Are they all being handled this way.

Excellent place to adopt small dogs. We adopted two Chihuahuas about four months ago & couldn't be happier. It's a little hard to locate directions-wise, but not impossible. I can tell that they do their best to help these cute little guys and they truly care what kind of home they're going to. Lori works so hard to be a champion for these sweet dogs.

Door were locked had to wait awhile to be let in, not able to visit pets, so please look online before coming so that you can know the pets available for adoption, not accomodating for a lot of ppl, but the pets are sweet and friendly! Please have more than one pet option, bc the pet you might be intrested in might not be there and the one you fall in love with can have a few applications for adoption pending. Enjoyed my visit and hopefully I get my forever pet!
