Pasco County Animal Services

My dog got out and was in doggy jail for 5 days. The staff and its facilities took great care to keep my dog healthy and safe. When we came to pick him up he was so excited to see us but there is no fear in his eyes when I looked at him around the other people that work there. Monster is a Chihuahua and chihuahuas are typically sketchy anxious dogs who win things like being in jail for 5 days are upon them monster showed no signs of being in doggy jail when we got him back. I attribute that to the great staff that was there to make him feel less scared and secure that we were coming to get him keep up the great work

pretty upset, called up there to simply get information if they did vet services as someone had told me to take my dog (who I rescued from there) there. I didn't catch the girl's name whom I spoke to but they need to give her training lessons on how to communicate with people because she has absolutely no clue how to deal with people. I called around 1:20 pm so whomever took that call was who I spoke to. not nice at all. it's a shame because this facility is pretty nice with others that are very nice, but you always have one bad apple I guess that ruins the bunch.. If your looking for a dog they have tons of great pups, rescued 2 from there, beautiful dogs..

I got my new best friend here after going through a really rough patch in my life. She is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle up!! The employees are friendly and helpful, plus try to do the best they can but it's very short staffed. Please look into adopting a shelter dog!!!! Soo many good dogs and cats!

Pretty good selection of animals and clean facilities. Bought 2 cats from here. $30 for black and white female 10 months old. The second cat (all black 10 month old female) nearly killed my first one and they wouldn't let me trade it in for another... All sales final. I think that was uncool.

Clean, but somewhat confusing. It was hard to tell the ages of some of the animals, whether or not they were available for adoption, or if they qualified for the 55+ special. I understand they have a new director so hopefully it will improve a bit.
