Academy Sports + Outdoors

Thank you Academy. The fastest service I have seen in a long time. I was returning some skates that did not fit my children. Even when you did not have them in store. You gave me the option to order them. So I did, without having any problems. My order was determined to be sent to my home (which I love) within the next five businesses days. So just guess my surprise when I get home from dropping the kids off to school to see the very skates I ordered yesterday at my door. Fast service I tell you. So instead of renting skates this weekend my children have their own. Thank You Academy for the surprise my kids will have when they get home and a weekend of fun. Thank you from a very happy mom!

I visit this store when we have any athletic need. This time was on a Sunday and it was nearing closing. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted so we knew we wouldn't take long. There was about 15 minutes to close and she wanted to try on the shorts she picked out. The person working the fitting area looked at her watch and was less than courteous. She was slightly rude to another gentleman also. Understandably frustrated because it was nearing close, but when the store is open...its open, and you are still being paid to do a job...in customer service. I will continue to frequent this store because of past experiences and great prices, but I was disappointed in the attitude received this visit.

I really have no complaints about this store. They have great prices all the time and when they run a sale it's a real one. You best buy it while you can because it won't last long. We bought a kayak from here and they even offered to help us load it. Doubt some stores would offer that.

I popped in because after spending 20 minutes on hold I was able to drive to the store faster than they were able to look for the item I was calling about. Given the company's recent political stance wherein they failed to support our 2nd amendment rights, I don't be spending any of my money at any Academy sports and outdoors stores in the future. I simply find it very difficult to support a store that doesn't support the Constitution of the United States of America.

The clearance prices with a extra 50% off is the best. I found some great bargains in the shoe and big men clothing departments.
