With a limited number of bars in town, this is definitely my favorite. You're sure to see plenty of friends on any given night, and there are always interesting travelers. You can't beat 365 days of free live music, and the margaritas are the best!

Had our first experience of authentic New Mexican cuisine our first night in Taos at Doc Martin's based on our Airbnb hosts' suggestion. We started with a small bowl of green chile with pork which was very flavorful and followed up by some tacos and a chile rolleno. A very enjoyable meal in a relaxed environment and a perfect introduction to New Mexican cuisine.

Loved it. This place was our home base in Taos. Loved the green chili stew from the bar. Lots of whiskey choices and a friendly staff. Very cozy.
