Eh its the Plaza, Some nice store owners. Hippies begging for change kind of turn me off from this place but are not always present, Drinking high dollar beer and asking for spare change, OUT THE WAY HIPPIE! While the historical significance is awesome for me it really is and was a one and done type of place.

Really quiet, trinkets for sale, arts to look at, sometimes live music, free internet (limited), coffee cats in John Dunn plaza, and world cup on corner (cash only), alley cantina (beers), gorge restaurant (4-5*), free parking after 6pm. Fantastic musicians depends on police and other factors... Quiet, nice place, Starbucks but la Fonda hotel, and a cute place with a giant stuffed 🐻 (sitting on same bench 15 years) where you can get fudge! thanks

Quaint small town plaza. The hub of entertainment with a gazebo stage at one end, statues, trees and benches so you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. Around the plaza are historical landmarks that make Taos what it is. . . an all year round tourist attraction!

Awesome place - visit on Saturday during market. The stores are very nice. Finding a public bathroom is a major pain in the neck. Loot for the little toy store around the corner (separate review). Definitely worth a visit if you have little kids. Good food stalls during market day. Park away from the area.
