Let me give you a time line, I viewed a property through a reality agent, we found out it was presented by AHI properties. I visit their location, she tells me she likes me, she's going to take the property off of the market. I put in my application that same day. I call for two weeks, she keeps telling me to wait for my background check. I call towards the end of week two, and she tells me I have enough income but not enough credit, and I just need a cosigner with a credit score above 600. I ask if my cosigners income matters, and she says no, just their score because we have enough income already. I find a cosigner. I submit that application. I call a few days later, and she says that that credit score was exactly what I needed and I'm good to go. She tells me she will call me soon with further news. I start packing, setting up my job transfer, the while nine yards. I call her to ask how much money I need to bring her and when by. She says "oh actually I have bad news." She then informs me that I have been denied. And that someone else is moving into the property.
So here I am, 130 dollars in application fees later. two weeks before the move in date we set, with no where to go. I did not receive one call from AHI properties. Only an email with the application, and an email requesting I resend my letter with intent to hire. Everything they told me to do to get this property I completed. I feel like I was given the run around.
Do not waste your time or money on this place. There is no communication.
If this was just the application process, I can't imagine actually renting through them.
If there were negative stars I would give them -130. Just like my bank account after I was scammed into thinking everything was good to go.

Used to be great now they are very bad. I am a property owner and been with AHI for 5+ years. I would not recommend them at all. They don't return your calls, ignore your emails. Also don't use them to sell your home they don't work weekends and don't show the property. It's like little effort goes into their work. They also keep changing office staff. I have very unhappy and will be filing a BBB and Attorney General complaint.

I've never experienced Real Estate people who don't work on weekends. My brother is a broker in OKC, and he works 7 days a week. Everyone else I've ever worked with also work any day of the week. But in Huntsville, Alababa, they work Banker's hours! Kind of surprising, given that there are tons of properties for rent, and yet they don't seem in a hurry to want to rent them. Looks like an opportunity for more enterprising individuals to take their business away from them.

Best property management company I've dealt with. The Mobile staff are a very professional group who are quick to answer any questions or resolve issues. Upfront in their policies and very helpful in getting everything taken care of when moving out. If looking you are looking to rent, rent with AHI.
