Huntsville Property Managers

I used these people to manage by property, never received any of the rent money and they 1099 for the rent money they kept for themselves. Also the Tenant that occupied the house never paid any of the electric bill which was left in my name. I believe they did this because I'm from the north. A word of warning to all people from the northern states if you own property in Alabama

Its hard to post a negative review without sounding like a disgruntled tenant; however, I just don't think this company know how to manage properties effectively. I had several maintenance issues that were extremely difficult to get repaired simply based on communication failures from Huntsville Property Managers. The worst of these issues was probably the 11 degree weather with no hot water and no one to contact about it. I called and left several messages and we went without hot water for about 3 days. I work in property management and I would never recommend this company to anyone. Thankfully the owners of our rental property switched management companies.

The worst service. Did not notify me of a $600 water leak in our home. Has made more than one major accounting error. Takes FOREVER to get a response. If I could give 0 stars I would. Sharon butler is only interested in serving those who have expensive homes. We own 3 properties and used this company for one of them simply because I don't have the time to deal with section 8 renting... she apparently doesn't have the time either. Go to management apex instead.

Simply put, you pay them to do nothing. Took 4 tries over 3 months to fix the garage door, still not fixed. Waited 2 months for them to replace a leaking water heater that caused water damage to my personal property, they replaced a 60 gallon with a 40 gallon. I’ve been maintains the repairs on the fence myself, not even going to bother with that one. But other than that, the house wasn’t cleaned before showing and they hired the worst painters in history to spot paint around the house. There’s water damage in multiple places throughout the house I’m sure they’ll blame me for, but thankfully I took pictures and recorded the inspection. Been waiting six days for a VOR from them but the owners son who is this property’s manager never comes in so never get to speak with him. Did I mention they put my rent towards another property and then tried to charge me late fees. I’ve rented all over the states and this by far is the worst management ever. I’ll update this review after move out. I’m sure that’ll be a fun read.

We've used HSV Property Managers, recommended through our realtor at Intero, for the last 2.5 years and were very happy with them. We moved out of state and they made renting our house out easy. It was rented within two weeks, we had a good tenant, they handled all issues and handled the finances. Would definitely use them again for future properties.
